Always a ?sale? on because the higher prices are not the real price, simply inflated to make the ?deal? price seem attractive to those that fall for it.Quality of the sofas are average for a large chain store, typically last 5 to 8 years in my experience.

i will never buy from dfs againi will never buy from dfs again. they absoloutely have no understanding of disability, to the point i will be pursuing my complaint beyond the company because i have not had adequate resosolution from the southampton store, whose manager and team are currently ignoring my emails despite the fact i do not yet have my full order, even though its in the distribution centre. they have caused me immense stress and suffering ignoring basic adaptions required from the very beginning, which basicly is no calls as im partially deaf, email communication only. beyond that they have then continued to cause issues, making decisions without my consent which have resulted in me having worse treatment because of this need and therefore because of my disability which is in direct breech of the equality act 2010. it is not enough to just accept an email but not reply, that is not an adaption. and because of their decision to take my number off, instead of leave it on with instructions for text only i was not able to get a 3 hour slot or a 30 minute warning when the first half of my delivery was on the way. i now am waiting for the second half but i dont trust they have now given the delivery part my number, ive had no contact, and management 'offer' to organise it, then dont respond. when they do respond they act like i havent confirmed. it is disgusting, it is to make it look like they are doing something whilst actually doing nothing.the manager thinks that a small refund makes up for discrimination.... whilst continuing to discriminate. on top of this ive been sold their sofacare, and guess what, no email only phone number so i cannot use it. the store have not responded to this yet.i was told i would get an actual appology from the store, i havent and from the staff member who initially ignored my request for no calls, and continued to ignore when he heard the voicemail message stating dont leave messages i cannot access them etc.heres some quotes from citizens advice about duty demonstrating they are failing"Traders and service providers must remove the barriers you face because of your disability so you can access and use their goods and services in the same way, as far as this possible, as someone who's not disabled. The Equality Act 2010 calls this the duty to make reasonable adjustments.""The duty to make reasonable adjustments in goods and services is anticipatory. This means the trader or service provider mustn?t wait for you to ask them to do something. They should consider in advance what they need to do to make their services accessible to all their disabled customers.""A trader or service provider may have a certain way of doing things, like a policy, rule or practice which makes it more difficult for you to access or use their services. The Equality Act calls these things provisions, criterions and practices. Really disappointed.Just taken delivery of a sofa after paying nearly £5k. Delivery was incomplete and we are missing a set of feet, which means we cannot use the sofa until the feet arrive.Called customer service and they are passing it to another department and I have no idea how long will take to process.I was worried about ordering our sofa with DFS because of the negative reviews. I should have trusted my gut as this has not been the seamless experience you would expect when spending so much.

Lovely store with lots of sofas to try and see but the customer service was absolutely awful. Couldn't have been worse. The staff saw us looking round and looking for them but they all sat chatting in the office. We also had to figure out how to pull out a sofa bed ourselves because we couldn't find a staff member. They were chatting in a way that I wouldn't consider professional or appropriate.They offered no help and when we asked for help they gave us the bare minimum information. Definitely my worse experience in a sofa store.

Messed the delivery right up, confirmed on the Friday and cancelled the same afternoon for no reason!! Now have to wait another 2 weeks before they can deliver and I?m left without a sofa with a family during the summer holidays! Absolute joke!! Purchased via hedge end store!

Completely messed up our order. Waited the best part of 6 months for part of our order. Customer communication was appalling not one person took control of the situation. I would tell anyone not to go there

If i can only choose 0 star i would. I travelled to Southampton to find a sofa that my family wants with a fast delivery (2-3weeks). I have used Track your Order to see updates and within 2 wks, i am expecting delivery but no email or call to arrange time and date. Tracking checked and date has changed within 3 wks period. Again no communication received regarding delivery. Past the date indicated in the tracking, i called customer service and my order was delivered to Scotland and I lived in West Sussex. Then delivered to a holding warehouse until then. I have been told that there's no time or date to deliver the item back to the South. So i decided to cancel the order as there's no way to wait for more weeks without definite delivery date. After i have spoken to DFS customer service, i received a phone call from DFS Southampton. The salesman is not even say sorry to what happened instead, he's very rude and kept on interrupting whilst explaining my point and the reason of cancellation. I even pointed it out that if he should have been apologetic and calm, might have changed my mind to wait. My first time to encounter such terrible customer service granting that I have used DFS for many years. Such a very poor customer service and disgusted to the salesman's attitude ?? ??????????

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR DFS AS A WHOLE! we ordered back in October 2021 and we?ve had nothing but trouble. The sofa came in wrong color, was a fight to get it changed even tho was not our fault. The wait to have it replace was months. Then it came broken. And the wait to have it replace again was months. The guy came to fix it. However didn?t have the right part and again now having to wait months for it to be fixed once again. They did not care when I told them my 2 year old has actually cut her hand open on the damage the sofa has. The service we?ve received from the get go is disgusting. I?ve ask for a full refund and then to come and collect the sofa which they have now refused. They also told me I couldn?t complain until the problem was fixed. 2 years down the line? another family member also brought a sofa last yeah and is already broken and they are also having problem with them fixing it! Will be taking this much much further.

How could they deliver wardrobe WITHOUT THE FIXINGS ? IT is reaping the customers and manipulating and delaying into fitting proces ????? Shame. I am waiting for the fixings.

Zero customer service, Ash the customer service manager is a pathetic excuse of a human being, he is rude, arrogant and has zero understanding of the consumer rights act. After complaining to the CEO he was put in his place and told to replace my sofa that was dropped by the delivery guys.
