Having chanced upon it by accident we were very happy with this tradition pub restaurant.
Welcoming staff , proper pub grub menu with a few posher bits and very resonable prices
We lived the character with all sorts of country stuff all over the place and a few collections of bits and bobs .

Some of the best pub food my family and I have had for a long time! Very generous portion sizes, all of our plates were cleaned! The lamb shank and steak especially! Tasted like proper home cooked food, will definitely visit again, highly recommend, thank you.

Definitely not a gastro pub. It does take you back to how country pubs used to be. Old school decor, neat well presented garden, small range of well kept beers, friendly staff (not in uniforms!).
