We had already visited for a drink during a walk along Hayling seafront and whilst there we looked at GF offerings. On the basis of those we returned for an evening meal to belatedly celebrate my wife?s birthday. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, exceptional service and although in the upper price bracket, well worth it. Staff were amazing, the locals were just lovely, which as visitors, means so much. If you are down on Hayling, make sure you pop in here, you won?t be disappointed. Cannot recommend enough.

Good food and beer was excellent. Service was spot on. Shame the fish served wasn't local on the shared fish platter but there was some beautiful bread and salad. Camembert was done well and onion pickle delicious. Allows dogs which is a plus for my family. TV in the eating area which some people like but detracts from atmosphere imo

Just don?t 8km of walking and wanted a cold pint and a spot of lunch. Staff friendly and entertaining.
Beer was ice cold and our lunch hit the spot.

Sunday lunchtime, ordered drinks and requested a menu at 1.00, we went to order 10 minutes later and they said no food until 15.30 as they have a table of 11 and a table of 10, should have told us before giving out the menu, very disappointing

My wife and I, along with our dog went to this great little pub for lunch yesterday (14th june), and what a great little find, it came up on a google search for somewhere dog friendly, we were greeted with a big smile from Jo, and we chose a seat near the back of the pub to be out of the way, as the pub although quiet at the time, soon got busy, but not too noisy, we had the platters to share, and these were both delicious, and we will definitely be back to this lovely pub/restaurant

We spent 3 nights in hayling island and chose to eat at the olive leaf for 2 of those. The food is of a high quality. We were told the chef was only 21, they have a very bright future I am sure.
The service was amazing, Mandy served us both evenings and we cant speak highly enough of her professionalism, ensuring we had everything we needed, going above and beyond.
For those with dogs, they are also welcome.
All in all, a great place to eat or drink.

Went to this pub this evening with my wife mother in law and dog. Holly and Mandy were two of the most helpful and friendly staff we?ve encountered. The food was delicious and no complaints at all. It was cooked perfectly. Will certainly return when next in Hayling

Went into this lovely pub for evening meal with my husband, mother and dog. The service was fantastic and Holly and Mandy were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to cater our needs. The food was 100 percent perfect. No complaints at all. Filling, cooked perfect and we will definitely return
