Disappointing breakfast - some items not available or only available after a long wait, only warm water for drinks, no option on bread choices and no milk. Kitchen staff unhelpful and disinterested - when asked about availability of missing items was told 'not my job'

Returning customers after a great experience last time.
This time we visited on a very busy summer's evening. Although it was extremely busy the service was good and the food was great. We would certainly recommend the pizza's and will be returning again soon.

Took over a hour for are food and they sent the starters out 20 minutes before we have to chase up are main meals the pub was basically empty as well. But the staff where nice about the long delay but I can?t see why the food took so long considering there where about 3 other tables being occupied at the time.

We visited on a weekday evening when we were staying at the caravan park nearby, and we were disappointed.
There was no one at the door to greet us or show us a table. I had to order online and then waited and waited for at least an hour before going to ask staff behind the bar where our food was. The place wasn't that busy so I don't know why it took as long as it did. Everything at the carvery was dry, other bits unavailable. Only the potatoes were decent as they'd just come out of the oven.
The leek fondue bake was OK but it was tiny and came out sat in the middle of the plate by itself. No salad or sides with it.
At least I had a voucher so I didn't have to pay full price.
Would not go back again.

Another great meal at the Barley Mow! There were 11 of us and there was something for everyone. My Carvery Calazone was cooked to perfection. My family enjoyed the Carvery, Philly stack burger and the salad. All our meals were delicious. The staff were friendly and really helpful, a special thanks to Oliver who helped carry all our drinks over to our table. Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks to Bren (the manager) and his team ?

Took the grandchildren out for a meal. Spent £71 . Then got a £100 fine for use of there car park. Won't be back.

It's ok. Nothing more. Think of a wetherspoons version of Toby carvery.
The carvery is quite bland with veg that's been left standing for some time. My wife ordered a cheese garlic bread with some halloumi fries. We had finished our food by the time she got hers. The staff themselves are lovely the chef carving the meat was chatty and friendly as was the chap who brought the drinks and food over. The 25% discount for downloading the app was a good touch and made the food about what it was worth. I'd say good for a drink and a bowl of chips nothing more. 3/10

Shocking experiance. We are staying nearby as a family of 5 visiting peppa pig world. We came here for tea this evening. We ordered 1 carvery adults 2 kids carvery 1 pizza and kids burger. Carvery was ridiculous everything had ran out, barely any veg no mash no gravy it 645pm. Had to stand around waiting for things to be refilled so other food was going cold. Stuffing not cooked. Got told would be awhile before gravy could be made so had to eat without any. It was mainly cold by now. Pizza and kids burger meal took 40mins to come out burger was rock solid and stale and chips stone cold and all stuck together. Staff didn't care. Absolutely shocking would never attend here again.

Came in for lunch today for a small pub snack, Calzone and Chips. As soon as I came in I was greeted by a lovely blonde haired woman behind the bar with glasses and a pink hair clip who was very quick with our drinks and order. She is very efficient and can tell she?s a hard worker, a smile on her faces and seem very cheerful! Loved having her serve us the moment we walked in. Food time was alright, and when it arrived it was nice and hot and tasted fantastic! Very good lunch!
