While on holiday here I had kids size cod and chips and a pea fritter from here .... Absolutely loved it. Kids portion size was plenty for me and the food tasted really fresh. We are on the beach ... Just watch out for those seagulls!!

Walked into this fish and chip shop expecting a proper British chippy, only to be told they don?t serve jumbo sausages. I mean, what kind of British fish and chip shop doesn?t do a jumbo sausage? Absolute disgrace.
To add salt to the wounds (and there was plenty of salt), the sausages ? including the battered ones ? were tiny. We?re talking cocktail size. And yet they had the audacity to charge £1.60 a piece! At that price, I expected at least a decent bite. Instead, it was more a game of hunt the sausage in the chips. A truly underwhelming experience.

What a shame. Been coming here for years now. Today found the service lacking. As in there wasn?t any. 3 miserable teenage boys. Not a hello between them. Stood at the counter wondering if I had been made recently invisible. Order miserably accepted. Payment begrudgingly taken. The fish was okay but not a patch on what it used to be. The gulls are in for a treat.
A hello and a thank you cost nothing. The fish and chips twice was £26!

After getting a takeaway 2x cod and chips , onion rings , curry sauce to get back and find the onion rings where unedible and they all got thrown away and the fish was over cooked, I will try to put some pictures on if I can to show how bad the food was. Also at the time of purchase no staff had apron or gloves ,which is health and safety. allergies also using the same utensils to pick up sausages and fish. This why they have lost their 5 star rating

Cafe not open on July Saturday afternoon. Some of the chips very hard . Need to advertise opening times on website more accurately.

Portion sizes for sausage n batter are crazy so small not worth buying plus chips were a little under cooked not worth the price

No salt in sachets. So no salt really. 50 pence charge for ketchup of a branded name.
Next time I am bringing my own ;)
But fish and chips taste outstanding.
