Come in for breakfast ordered the vegetarian breakfast and a sauage sandwich. Tiny portion with the cooked breakfast for the money. It was not filling at all. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

Busy evening, staff worked hard to cope, and probably would with more typical numbers. Food was great, but some waiting between courses and for drinks service.

We booked this for one reason, the menu said it served roast dinners until at least 6 pm. We arrived at 5.30 to be told that they had run out of roast dinners. Not a great start. The rest of the food was good but then they could not do a deluxe hot chocolate as they had run out of cream. Our table of six was crammed into a corner that was a little uncomfortable and a bit draughty. Not the overall experience we were looking for at a price point of £200 for six dinners and deserts.

Parking: Free parking outside pub - not a massive lot so I can imagine it gets busy at peak times, but the village centre has a lot of parking options close by so it's not an issue.

Not been in this pub for many years but decided to give it a go on Sunday evening. And I'm glad we did! Really nice inside and the staff were very friendly. The food we had was also very good and reasonably priced. I definitely won't leave it so long next time.
