Lovely local fish and chips, owner always cheery and services have always been great. Chips are always nice & freshly cooked. Batter and oil are clean and freshly made too. Highly recommend however they appear to no longer be in business. The last several times I've visited, their shutters are down with no note to advise customers why they are not opened...?

poor service! can't believe this pathetic excuse of a sausage is £1.50 and the £9.50 mixed kebab where's the rest? not worth the money. went to the shop to complain but its shut? God knows where its been sent

Chippy just turned up. Thrown straight in the bin. Chicken and mushroom pie felt like it been under there hotplate for 3 weeks was rock hard. Chips tasted full of fat. What a waste of time and money. Avoid. Wont be getting again from

I order my off just eats which is why i cant give any stars for atmosphere because I've never actually been there myself, but the food is absolutely phenomenal.I usually go for the same with some switch ups at times half pound burger with the salad added in maybe with some extras at times, a hotdog and usually curry and chips or if i want to pig out, ill add in ben and jerry's cookie dough ice cream and the banana fritter and maybe a cheeky battered mars bar as well. most of the food on the menu is worth the price on just eats with the small nit-pick of mine being adding onions and ketchup is 20p each onto a hotdog when that should really be the standard for a hotdog. waiting for upwards of an hour for my food to be delivered is always worth the wait but i typically get it within 30mins and it always comes hot. never had an issue with my orders or what i want to buy which is a huge plus as well.the food its self is better than most chip shop places in terms of what you can buy as well as the pricing and how rich a lot of the food tastes compared to usually cheaply bought food that other chip shops in the area of haven't and leigh park do however im not able to tell if they add seasoning to their food or not. i think the only thing I've had that i didn't personally think was all that great was the jacket potato, chips and beans with cheese from there. tastes a little rubbery when you get it delivered and the bean juice dries a bit too quick which makes the food not that enjoyable to eat.in terms of service, the food is worth the wait for me in my opinion because you can tell they take good care with the food they sell and make sure that it's of good quality and a decently high standard of quality for how much you pay for it.overall, if a rating for atmosphere was not included, i would rate it 4 stars. u get what you want for the money and a bit more. both in taste and the amount you get.

Went in to buy a standard fish and chips meal with vinegar and as I walked in they stole my skin and shaved me bald- half of my hand was removed and battered and I am now walking home with no skin writing this. As well as this the chips were a bit soggy.

Sausage was cold, hard and tasted awful, chips where soggy. And the owner needs to change he's attitude or someday someone will knock him out. Stay away

Ordered on Uber Eats, turned up in good time, the rolls were super soggy, only chip shop I've known to pour the curry sauce over the chips and not in a separate tub, chips werent great anyway, the sausages were so small, the overall portion sizing wasn't great for the price. Requested refund through Uber.

Absolutely awful wouldn't waste your money. Food was over 2 hours late missing over half the items the chips are just disgusting like eating soggy cardboard.

2 portions of fish was cold in the middle .1 portion was a huge lump of batter no fish, the chip portions where tiny. First time I used them and will be the last unfortunately
