A genuine, historical, old Ale House. With a varied range of of lagers, bitters and wines. Offering a pleasant lunch menu. Well cooked and presented. With regular events like Kareoke and themed nights. Its popular with many locals and groups. Indeed the staff are very friendly, helpfull, competent and work hard to acommodate any specific needs.
Reasonably priced as well. Well worth spending time there. Summer or any season. They also have a dary board and a very pleasant seated area at the back, too. A place you can truely enjoy yourselves. Or relax. Dog friendly, too* Moreover the music they play is often classic tracks from the 1980, and 70s. With 90s and 00s mixed in. So sounds for everyone.
