It was busy as usual plenty of shops to visit you can walk through from one end to the other which comes out on West St Havant & @ weekend's manly Saturday there is a small street market for shopping ocasionly one or two shops have closed up now but no real change need a better car park has got no where to park except on the road or go in the multi story which is badly sign posted away from the town centre @ the back of shops better to travel by bus into the town @ least you can spend time looking around all the shops without getting a parking ticket has the warden likes to issue

Stupid idea closing at 3pm on a Sunday on New Year's Eve, total nonsense. We were in Costa which stays open until 4pm, watching a continuous stream of disappointed shoppers. Moreover, the signs on the Meridian Centre doors say it's open until 3.30pm on New Year's Eve!Update: Thanks for your reply but unfortunately you are incorrect in that the security man we witnessed from Costa set the doors to one way sensors exit only from the south entrance at 3pm preventing people from coming in to the Meridian Centre. Why advertise that the Meridian Centre closes at 3.30pm on New Year's Eve but not let people in after 3pm? Sorry, that's not good. Particularly if people had planned to get there 3-3.30pm for last minute purchases because it was advertised by you that it would still be open then?
