I came in the other day and i got served by a gentleman named Lou or lewis im not sure which. This was my first time visiting Havant subway but i will say that it was a delightful experience and the customer service was really good i hope that the gentleman who seeved me gets recognized for his good service

friendly staff but my sub was really bad :( he put it into a panini press after putting all the salad and sauce in first, all the salad went hot and soggy. Paid nearly £6 and it was inedible sadly :( never mind.

I've both ordered and eaten in at this place many times and it rarely disappoints. If you are buying it via delivery, all I say is just don't. Typically will come cold and takes too long from it being made to being delivered while still warm, even locally. If you buy to eat in or take out, this is perfectly fine and you won't get that issue. There's a few food items on the menu which are very questionable for one reason or another. With buying just meatballs, U get just 4 in a small pot for a price that isn't worth it, it seems like they are trying to get rid of the nacho box menu items as I cat seems to ever get my hands on it anymore and there's a few other things on that menu that is rather questionable.
Service, I've rarely had a problem with this as well. Typically fast and fine and no hassle. I have read another comment about the service and I just don't agree personally. I think it's a better environment and work environment when the employees do get along, make jobs and have a good time at their job while doing their job and as someone who used to work in a busy resturant as an f&b assistant, customers would often say that they prefer the staff to be happy, have fun and even sing or have fun at work as it brightens up their moods and makes it feel more welcoming.
The atmosphere is actually where I feel sorry for subway here. I'm pretty certain that over the years, subway had to downgrade and move 1 building over from where they originally started and it didn't get any better. I remember they used to have an outdoor public sitting area at one point but I think they were forced to get rid of it due to complaints with the market right outside on the weekends and that it was restricting people from getting around the market so easily. I think these were the two major reasons why subway has to deal with only having 4 singular seats within their restaurant to eat in at and a very tight cue line, to line up and order food. It's basically impossible to line up when your in a group.
One of my favourites and go to places however they've just had it so rough in the area. The only way I could possibly see subway expanding in Havant is to expand up instead of out as expanding out isn't possible anyway. That or they move locations to a bigger building size.

Rude customer service. Seems like the staff are more worried about socialising with each other and there friends who stand around in there groups not purchasing anything. Very unprofessional. As most people I love a subway. So I like to get one at least once a week. I started using this branch as I work close by every time I go in it seems more of a
social club between the staff and there friend's rather than a restaurant. Your just ignored while they finish there social chats.
Seems like it?s a chore to serve you.
I?ve started ordering from a different branch further away but at least there happy to serve you as a customer

Lucky to even be getting a 1 star. Absolutely shocking! Ordered garlic and herb bites and got sent out Chipotle which we were not made aware of. I found out about this once i had bit it into it, I had to spit it back out as wasn't expecting it to be spicy.
I called up to make a complaint about this as we were also missing our dip pots, cookies and got sent the wrong drink, all the person had to say about my issues was oh yeah we sent the Chipotle ones out as thats all we had available, which if the garlic and herb ones aren't available you should take them off the delivery service not just send out whatever you think is okay. Disgusting no care attitude. Called up today @19:03.
This place should be looked into as that could of had some serious repurcussions if the customer could not deal with spicy food!
