This is the 6th visit to this Premier Inn.
You get everything expected. Basic, but comfortable rooms. Clean in all public places.
Helpful, polite, staff.
Large car park.
Situated between Hayling Island, Portsmouth and West Sussex in the other direction.
Reasonably priced!

Location is just off the main road, although the traffic at this junction at peak time was a bit much for me. Staff were okay although seemed overstretched with an average amount of people. Rooms were the standard premier inn style. Some very noisy guests throughout the night. Maybe this could be reduced by shutting the doors in the hallways. Dinner, don't order the fish and chips, it was the standard of a frozen supermarket job. I would eat elsewhere, they clearly don't care. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. I won't stay at this one again but will use other premier inns.

Stayed here in Dec 24 with my wife as some respite from my ongoing Cancer Treatment and to be honest it was the worst Premier inn we have ever stayed at. Entry Key Card failed 7 times, Had to have card reprogrammed 6 times, Finally ended up with a white card with our room number written on it.
Electric card switch was faulty ( no offer of help from staff, Just given two cards to put into slot)
Breakfast was luke warm on our first morning.
Food was very limited, They had run out of numerous items on the menu over the three nights we were there.
Staff were cleaning the carpet around us with a long handled dustpan and brush as we were eating our breakfast.
Observed some food hygiene issues.
Inside of the lift was not cleaned (spills) during our stay.
There's a parcel collection point near the main entrance door which had a pile of cigarette ends behind it.
Ash tray outside the main entrance door was full on our arrival and wasn't emptied during our stay.
Fast food wrappers on the floor near the disabled bays was not picked up during our stay.
We were woken up by screaming and shouting on our second night at 01:40 Hrs, When we mentioned it to the staff the next day they explained that they had problems with guests after a 60th birthday celebration, A room had been wrecked.
We will certainly pay more attention to the reviews before we book another Premier inn.
Shame really as we were there for a rest.

I absolutely love premier inn hotels because they are cheap and cheerful, normally.
Never stayed in such a worse premier inn, and not even in the aspect of dirty room and such. I had a relatively clean room but i mean by the services.
Let me start off with the WIFI. Free WIFI is completely pointless using as it just does not work at all. Worst part is I'm with o2 so signal around here with them is non existent so had to revert with paying the £5/day ultimate WIFI fee for the week i stayed due to work. Even then with paying for the WIFI, disappointing honestly. That's £25 I am not getting back...
The last thing I'm going to complain about is the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous timings, 1700-2030 food timing. That's reasonable don't get me wrong but honestly I've never seen timings like it. When I googled it says up until 2200 or 2300 so went to get food and told last orders was 2030. That's fine so I savour myself for fish and chips another day. My last night rolls along and I get told 'pre bookings only'.
Wouldn't mind but;
1 the restaurant was empty with about 5 people eating.
2 I literally had my order ready to just sit down and get it ordered, but noooo.
So here's my review because honestly, like I said at the beginning, worst premier inn i've stayed in.

The free WiFi is pointless, frankly. The phone signal is worse.
.
Staff are good and the restaurant is quick to serve and feed you.
It's just an average Premier Inn, but this one has worse Internet and phone signal than usual.

No bar on site, and 'franchise restaurant' next door closed at 10, so no option to relax with a pint after a long drive. Otherwise it seems to be a regular premier inn.

Arrived at the hotel to be told my booking hasn't been paid for. After some investigation, found out the person at the front desk didn't know how to use the system, booking was infact paid for! Get to my room, key didn't work. Went back for a new key.
Walked into my room and got a damp smell. Looked around and found that there had clearly been a leak but had not been repaired. Mold had started to show.
Asked for a different room, which thankfully was available.

When we arrived just for one night there was no extra pillows
Also room smelt of cigarettes
Breakfast was terrible the bread that was brought out was still frozen !
I have stayed in a few premier inns which all have been reasonable this one was sadly the worst

Stayed for 2 nights to go to Portsmouth football match. As Premier Inn's go this was below average
Reception not always available
Tea, coffee and milk not stocked up in room and reception supplies kept running out
Not particularly sound proof rooms, could hear neighbours conversations which were not loud
We had a wet room option which flooded on 2nd morning due to poor drainage and unable to report to reception due to non availability

Booked meal deal but then told no chef to do evening meal was told by the pub next door they never seem to have one

On arrival 30 minutes to check in. No proper keys issued despite frequent requests. No extra pillows in room when my friend went to check in the key had to be taken so disabled person left in dark as only one temporary key issued.
On arrival tried to order an evening meal and were eventually told the chef had left his post for the evening for whatever the reason. Then told the restaurent was closed.
Could not collect luggage from the car as only one key. When checked in and paid with card there were issues with the system told key and receipt would be put under the door - following day no receipt - key card eventually issued but no receipt told it would be later neither was a credit card receipt issued.
However rooms spotless and cleaners very helpful. On the third night keys still not working and a refusal to issue a second.
Eventually supplied. In my view there is a disregard for people with disabilities and or a complete lack of understanding.
Food and drinks: Chef decided to leave - not had any - as a good pub opposite
