Utterly appalling. We had appointments all day and were told by Reception staff that in order to eat at the Beefeater restaurant attached to the Premier Inn, Bedhampton, we must arrive and order food by 9.30pm. We arrived just before 9am and were told that we could not order, nor eat at all and that the kitchen was closed so even though we had not eaten all day long, we had absolutely nothing to eat due to utter incompetency by Premier Inn staff. Just appalling to be so misinformed by staff.

The worst experience of any receptionist I have ever experienced. We arrived late one evening after work (5 rooms on 2 separate bookings). Lynne in reception could not see the separate booking and therefore would not help us find the additional rooms. I even tried to show her the booking reference on my phone and she accused me of throwing my phone into her face. She told us we were the worst customers she had ever experienced - well I could return the insult LYNNE. Eventually she stormed off refusing to speak to me and Harrison managed to phone the manager and miraculously find the booking. There was no apology from Lynne. I will be taking this further with Premier Inn.

Lovely clean very good sized room for a family of 4. Front desk staff (sorry I forgot to take a note of the evening receptionists name) were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely consider staying here again in the

Our rooms 10 and 12 ground floor no heating smelt of damp stayed there 2 nights the only thing that was good was the food served by pub next door although handy to motorway it's not well signposted drinks/ vending machine empty so if you wanted some other beverage ect nothing there not the best Premier

I have been using premier inn all the time across the UK and loved almost everything about it, but tonight's experience was awful. When I was lying in the sofa bed and watching tv, I felt a great damp come through the bed cover underneath, feels like I was sweating from my skin contacting the bed, patch of wet even started appearing on the bed. I called for help, both staff Danny and Lynn tuned up and helped to change the bed cover. Unfortunately I tried to feel the mattress, the whole mattress was damp and moisture too, it is in un sleepable condition at all, when I reported this to the staff, Lynn become outrageous and refused to touch the mattress and keep saying it was all fine to her, I kindly ask her 3 more times, try to put your hand on it and feel yourself, she refused all and kept saying I have been on 17 hours shift and I am not doing this, you have to sleep with this and then left the door, WHAT??!! I appreciate your work and expect fair service, not your ignorance and complaining to me about your job, HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SLEEP ON A DAMP BED FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT? Danny stayed on and helped me the most, we have tested the whole mattress up and down and both felt the moisture/wet even from underneath, he said tonight was fully booked and he could not swap any sofa bed or room for me, well I fully understood the situation and happy for what he tried for me, Danny did his best to help!!! What a fantastic experience from here, Premier inn Portsmouth Havant!!! Staff over whelmed work isn't your excuse for ignoring customers, I appreciate your work Lynn but not your ignorance.

Good as overnight stop close to Portsmouth ferry.Hotel is in need of refurbishment, slightly run down, but no real problem.Staff as always very helpful, friendly and efficient.Food & drinks: Beefeater adjacent.
