Dropped some meta quest 2 with my son for sale. We were told we call you soon after testing it in just 30mins to confirm. 24 hours went by no email, no phone call and in the morning we could see that it?s on being used. Called customer care and they said just give us some minutes we will call you back. 30mins down the we received a call saying we are sorry we cannot buy it because there is a broken bracket. I had a very frustrating experience at this shop. Despite having around £50 worth of items to purchase, I was completely ignored. Two staff members were casually chatting behind the counter, and when another staff member came over, they turned their back on me and joined in the conversation instead of helping.
Meanwhile, the only staff member who was actively serving was arguing with a customer about DVD pricing and seemed unable to calculate totals correctly. I waited for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged not even a simple ?we?ll be with you shortly.?
This gave the impression that the store is more of a social hangout for the staff than a professional retail environment. Basic customer service training is clearly needed, and I strongly suggest that management visits more regularly to set expectations and enforce some structure.
With how challenging the retail market is these days, one would think customer loyalty matters but it certainly didn?t feel that way today. I won?t be returning unless I see real improvements

I went to the cex shop to trade in a iPhone SE it was only a year old and had nothing wrong with it and they said they will give me £30 for it but they have to do some checks on it and when I went back to get my money they said that the battery is broken and don?t work even know the phone was a year old they said because the battery is broken they will only give me £3 for it because they said it will cost them more then the phone is worth to fix which is a lie and this is not the first time they have scammed meSo I highly suggest to not go in there because they will scam you.

A good place to buy cheap dvds and games. Staff are very helpful and lovely. I would not recommend this as a place to get money if you are trading in though as you won't get very much at all.
