Having not been to this restaurant for a number of years, sadly the food was very disappointing. The butterfly prawns for starter smelt incredible when they were served but had zero taste. All three course I had simply had no flavour to them at all and this restaurant charges the higher end in price so it was very disappointing. This was sadly a similar theme across our whole table - very bland food! Such a shame!

Tonic in gin was flat, starter covered in oil, main port sauce with steak had very little port in it. Girl serving looked like she didn't want to be there. Asked for wine menu but she didn't come back to take order so didn't have wine with meal. Didn't want to stay for dessert as nothing inspiring and service not good. Won't be back unfortunately.

Visited for the second time the evening, food was excellent, the prawn starter was one of the best starters I?ve had in a long time. Service was also great, very welcoming and friendly, will definitely go back.

We came here for the 1st time and it wasn't quite what we expected, the atmosphere was calm and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and just enough although I'm sure some would think a little more is best. We expected a little more of an Italian vibe but nevertheless overall we enjoyed our visit and it was good value for money so well worth a visit ?

Mama Mía is what I said when I left hungry?This family owned and operated Italian restaurant is well rated and so we came with moderately high expectations.The evening started well, with a nice Italian white wine and the suggested specials of the day to start. Grilled sardines and avocado with crabmeat.Unfortunately, the dining experience deteriorated from there.The seafood pasta (spaghetti) and the seafood risotto dishes were clearly the exact same seafood base simply mixed with the different pastas.That wouldn?t be horrible except that the dishes had no flavor other than frozen clams.Where were the garlic, white wine and tomato flavors the menu highlighted?It felt like the chef was tired and threw these dishes together before checking out.When we spoke with our server about the lackluster dishes, he resolved the issue by taking the meals off the bill when in actuality, we were hungry and were hoping for replacement dishes with more flavor!We were told the kitchen was closed, echoing our theory about a tired chef.It?s unfortunate. I think this restaurant usually delivers.I might recommend it but warily.?????

A great little restaurant. The staff are always fun and friendly without being intrusive and the food is fantastic. I?ve never had a meal there that I haven?t thoroughly enjoyed.
