The attention to detail and level of support the staff provided was literally sight saving. I booked what I thought would be a simple test for contact lenses, only to find out my retina was detaching and had gone undetected.. I am now awaiting surgery. The gosport branch is a fantastic group and I am so thankful. would highly recommend!

Once again brilliant experience, staff even as busy as they get still have time to pick best glasses that suits you and works with prescription. Only a short wait to get in on a busy day. Staff were very tolerant of my scratched old lenses. Reasonable choice of new frames. The 2 for 1.5 offer. Old frames given a lift with new nose pads and tightened screws.

Will not go here again two expensive and was given payment options..service was lovely. Next time I will be ordering on line . I am struggling nurse on low wages my ? cost 317 which couldn't afford.

A great big thank you to the guys a Vision Express Gosport. I booked an eye test and the wonderful staff Jayne, Beth and Geoffrey detected a big problem, not only detected, they booked me an emergency appointment at QA Hospital eye department that same morning. The hospital confirmed their findings and within fours hours I was on medication. I cannot thank them enough, wonderful, caring and amazing opticians.

The optician was thorough, friendly and explained everything as we went along, a really nice guy. The two ladies front of house were also lovely and were really helpful helping me chose a frame. Highly recommend this optician.

As a new customer the Initial customer service was excellent with the two staff member I met being both helpful and informative. I had my eyes tested, chose and paid for my frames and waited.Two weeks later my glasses were delivered to the shop for my collection and shortly after 'getting used to the new lenses' I started to suffer headaches. I returned to the store to be informed that the left lens strength was incorrect which was a fault of the technical support department, I then waited for another 2-weeks for replacement glasses which are now correct.I have also been tested for contact lenses, a supplier recommended and lenses ordered; it has now been 4-weeks and I am still waiting for them.I am regularly attempting to contact the shop by phone but the staff clearly do not see answering the phone as a business priority, I have also witnessed this behaviour whilst waiting in the store.The standard staff response is that 'we're really busy' which is always a poor excuse for inadequate management!I am led to believe that a franchise business is reliant on recommendation and customer retention for their income, this being the case I can begin to understand why Specsavers is so popular!
