I haven't been in the store for many years. It's got some new stuff more food and freezers. There are still some good bargains. I don't know if it's in a transition period but around a quarter of the store was just boxes and empty shelving the furniture section was also looking more like a jumble sale than a shop. Saying that the front of the store was dedicated to Halloween products and they did look much better than your normal cheap imported plastic tack that is sold at a lot of stores so well done there but the store in general looked like it needs a face lift.

Good variety of option to decorate a home but the staff are rude and unhelpful

I was doubled teamed at the paint mixing desk, saying the 5L paint was exactly the same as the tester they mixed up. Two members of staff proceeded to back each other up and say the paint was the same, which resulted her telling her boss (who she had to call up) incorrect information. So I was then refused a refund. Down 41.99, £250 for the day rate of the paint and decorator, and time out my day.
While one of them was on the phone telling incorrect information to the boss, the one proceeded to raise her voice at me when I told her the colours weren't the same...
I went back home and asked the painter and decorator to paint both colours on the wall. I must be right or colour blind ?

Such a good variety of household, food, gifts, hobbies, pet, garden etc. The shop is always clean and has lovely displays! It also has an Icelands inside. Parking it pretty good. Has cafe and toilet facilities.

So many things to choose from AND I can do some food shopping in the Iceland section. Love the garden centre as well. Look forward to going to see what's new and on offer.
