Appaled that a £1.30 service charge was applied to our bill for two cups of coffee!! We aren't allowed to order from counter . If we had known we wouldn't have ordered . Disgusting.

Wife ordered a ham salad it come with one thin slice of packet ham. Asked staff and was told that's what they do.

Nice and clean and nice staff, that's where it ends I'm afraid! Spent over £60 for 4 of us. Food was terrible! Over £10 for a big breakfast and the ingredients were cheapest of the cheap! Maybe spend a bit less on expensive branded crockery and sugar sachets and a bit more on better quality ingredients. Tinned mushrooms, nasty cheap bacon and sausages and pepsi was flatter than flat. Sorry, but really poor show!

What a great little diner! The welcome was really warm, the seats comfortable and the service great. We had breakfasts and they were very tasty; not the most expensive ingredients but good nonetheless. Good value for money. They could do with some pictures on the walls though. It was also very clean and well maintained.

First time there today. Limited menu for a veggie like me but the baked potato with beans and cheese that I chose was perfectly done and beautifully presented, even to the salad served with it. First rate service from lovely people too.

Overall ok food was nice and most of it was reasonably priced. But some things on the menu were overpriced for what they were. But I would still recommend anyone looking for food in Gosport to go here.

Update. Management apologised and offered us 2 free meals. They still will not offer kids meals below 10 years though so probably won't eat there again.
Never had a problem until yesterday. Tried to order a kids jacket potato as my wife has a small appetite to be told it's only for children under 10 years., despite a sign saying they support dietary restrictions! No where does it state that on the menus, and we have always purchased for our sons even though they are older than 10.
Not only did they miss out on the order, but they also lost a customer as we will not be returning to Poppins again.
