Reading some of the poor reviews I was very cautious but the tyres were competitively priced so purchased them, received excellent service and without any hassle or concern.

Incredibly helpful and cheerful staff, nothing too much trouble, resolved all the things I needed fixing/fitting with regarding car. Easy and pleasant trip, I would definitely recommend these guys/this store and Halfords in general.

Absolute disgrace, had back brakes fixed, all well but they then informed me that they had broken a calliper and would repair it free of charge, OK not bad, day came, dropped the car off at 0835 as I had to take my daughter to the hospital, dropped it off asked how long it will take, was told a couple of hours, they would call me when completed, waited until 1200 that's 3.5 hours later, was told by the receptionist that her colleague had tried to call me earlier, absolute lie, no one tried to call me, daughter had to get a cab back from the hospital because they couldn't be bothered to call me, and then lie bare faced. The receptionist actually said, my colleague tried to call you, I said no he didn't she then said, I know my colleague and he did try to call you, basically calling me a liar, the receptionist is rude and a liar.

Unfortunately I have to give this review 1 star to post the content. I had my car serviced at this garage and the car was returned in an unbelievable state with white lithium grease sprayed around all the doors and hatchback. A complete mess which took an hour to clean up. In addition the engine oil was overfilled by almost 1 litre which on a 1000cc is quite a significant amount. With obviously poor service like this I have no confidence that the car service was done properly and I had to have the car re-serviced at another garage.To add injury to insult, Halfords customer care is about as useless as the garage with promises to resolve the matter but no action.This added on 17/01/2024:-Despite the response below it's impossible to contact Halfords customer service through their wall of technology so still no response from company despite empty promises. I went into Halfords in Gosport today to have my car battery checked and was served by the most amazing female assistant she was polite helpful and just thoroughly nice I don't know her name but she had long blackhair this lady is definitely an asset to the Halfords brand
