Yet again I have turned up on a Saturday morning after checking to see if they are open to find they are shut as no pharmacist. I can't always get to store in the week due to my working hrs ... Boots this is not acceptable...Time to change pharmacy I think.

Google and websites that advertise this chemist need to be updated to show that it closes for lunch.

I called in yesterday to buy something and enquire about booking a flu jab. The lovely pharmacist was also able to give myself and the person with me a flu jab there and then. She also gave me some important advice that I was unaware of about an existing condition that she had noticed. Very personal, friendly but professional service.Thank you.

Awful place. Do not trust the staff's advice, thought they knew better than a Doctor who advised me to take a certain medication to help with symptoms after surgery and they refused to sell the product because the pharmacist thought they knew better. My husband went to a different pharmacy and the pharmacist said it was totally fine to take the medication the Doctor recommended.

Absolutely useless. Went there on Wednesday to get a percription and was told they hadn't received it .so called them on Thursday morning to see if the percription had arrived to which I was informed it had and they had to order one of the items and it would be ready after 2pm on Friday So another trip during my work hours only to be told it was not there and the second item needed to be ordered . I said I was informed by a member of their staff it would be ready to collect on Friday it seems as though I was lied to and it was another wasted trip . Their left hand do not seem to know what the right hand is doing their staff need retraining to NOT misinformedCustomers

I have gone to town specifically to go to boots serval times over the last 3-4 weeks and I an fed up with it being closed. One reason given was there was no pharmacy. Why that should affect the main shop I have no idea. The last couple of times I have been it?s been shuttered up for a 2 hour lunch break? 2 hours? come on. That aside when you are able to get through the door the staff a very pleasant.
