DONT COME HERE!!! if you are coloured, you will be misjudged and treated horribly. The worst customer service I've seen. Came to do a simple procedure to which they started looking for problems that they can call me out for and they denied me service. As soon as I entered they seemed angry and unwelcoming. Make the trip to the one in fareham instead they won't treat you like garbage atleast. Argos need to fire people who are antisocial like the people I met.

Worst shop ever! I ordered an iron the other day. When I opened it, it was dripping. Clearly, it had been used. Went to return it today. They didn't want to accept the return and refund me cause they said it's been used. Well, why are you selling used items then! I will never shop at argos again!

Went to buy dream bike for my little girl.i went payment desk make sure they take cash payment method.There?s a three people standing to help I ask them and they said yes and then they laughing at me.I ask them Are you guys are laughing at me? They said we?re laughing about different things.Then I went to the desk (sazida) to order the bike and she?s ask me the amount of £115 while I was counting my money all three of them showing some signals each other and laughing again.it makes me very uncomfortable.And I?m not happy with that service and makes me angry raise my voice after that they don?t want serve me. Terrible service, item was faulty and they wouldn't refund or exchange it, don't buy from here

AVOID Refused return of faulty item that was broken asked for an exchange refused within 30 days. Opened the box to find a massive crack manager made us feel like we had lied about the faulty product. So upsetting hard working people robbed from their money.
Phoned up head office they said its up to each store manager to decide whether the return is accepted. As you can see via the guidance on the website everyone has 30 days to return or exchange a faulty product.
So i am confused to why the manager is going against their own rules. Following on from this, this also breaks the 2015 consumer protection act which is there to protect the consumers.
The fact that in 2024 a large company like argos in the UK get away with this baffles me. After looking at social media a lot of complaints say the same, especially about the Gosport Branch.

i like the argos because it gave me free access to carboard boxes without paying for them by paying for other items :)

Shocking experience. Return refused for clearly faulty item. Customer service was awful stone faced staff couldn't have cared less. Sooner this shop is developed into flats the better.

We were treated with respect and good customer service the other day and a polite young man cant remember his name sure it began with R. Had a 25 badge on was really helpful and patient. Cheers. Recommend.

Poor aftersales customer service! Returned office chair as very poor quality and faulty. Unfriendly assistant with manager being even worse! They made me feel that I was being dishonest and said I'm not entitled to a refund. Eventually got a refund but came away feeling unhappy and an now unlikely to use Argos again!

The staff are always friendly and it?s never normally busy. You can buy online to collect in store, or purchase directly in store.Not too close to parking so wouldn?t recommend to buy large items here, however is good for small items or customer services.
