We can across this pub while staying at Redshoot camping site. Nice little walk to and from but well worth it.... Good ales great food with excellent service!. Will definitely be putting on our map for revisits.Well done everyone.

Wonderful place, awful bumpy road - enjoy the New Forest on your slow approach to the High Corner Inn. Called in with my family for a meal and a rest - the food was good, but the waiter (Ryland?) was better, he was polite, funny and efficient - good with kids and made the visit a memorable experience. Staff, location, ambience - all made this a definite 'come back again' place. Thank you.

We have loved the High Corner for years but were left horribly disappointed and will not be returning until improvements have been made. The food was warm at best, the quality was probably one of the worst roasts I?ve had in a pub. The service was slow and we were charged for a drink we didn?t have and they tried to charge us for two puddings we didn?t have. Despite pre ordering the kids puddings were wrong and they had to wait longer for theirs which didn?t go well. Really really disappointed especially given the cost which when compared to the normal menu was more expensive.Nearby activities: In the middle of the new forest.

Our first visit and stay and we were that impressed that we have already booked to go backThe location was just perfect for walks from the doorstep with our two vizslas. We both loved the accommodation and the food . The team were very welcoming tooDefinitely recommend to anyone who would like a chilled break in the New Forest with or without dogs

Great food, the haddock and chips are always very good along with the pie of the day, the meat and onion pie tonight was excellent, and in a pleasant setting.Rooms: The huge suit with the mosaic shower is so nice, but often booked as it's so popular ?

Admittedly did not book a table for lunch was spur of the moment, staff made us feel inadequate and mentioned they had no tables, we offers to sit outside where all tables bar one was free they then said we are not serving food or drinks outside you can order your drinks at the bar and bring in your glasses when you're finished. The kids got hot chocolate which was over £4 each which I thought was disgusting as they were smaller than the adults second time we have been and both times not felt like we belong from the way the staff made us feel

A wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Rooms were beautify appointed, luxurious and very comfortable. Dinner was absolutely superb. The customer service was impeccable, very friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way to help us with a vehicle breakdown situation. We will visit again.Rooms: Very comfortable and well appointed suite with beautiful walk in shower and large bathroom. Woke up to a view of New Forest Ponies outside which my daughter was delighted by!Food & drinks: Lovely food, very nice menu and a good kids menu too which went down well!

Wow this place has gone from the Best in the Forest to the worst. The recent visit here was probably the worst experience ever in a Public House. Walked through the door to find empty tables but apparently fully booked? (Standard Sunday though) greeted by owner / landlord to ask what we wanted to eat so I suggested looking at the menu first?! Faces that were pulled were really unprofessional and after really didn?t wanna eat or spend any money here. Some of the nice couples in the garden were overheard saying the same thing. Shame been coming here for 20+ years and probably won?t return. AmenFood & drinks: No thanks not worth spending here

What a disappointment. The staff really let this inn down. Zoe, the manager in the evening, started to shut down the pub at 20.00. She asked the waitresses to leave early and wanted them to wait outside the pub in the dark and pouring rain - they pleaded to stay as their shift was supposed to finish at 21.00 and their lift was coming then. But there was no compassion or concern for their safety. We wanted another pint at 20.30 but the taps lines had been shut off. The barman did set them up again but we felt like it was an imposition. Regarding the food, the Sunday lunch was good and the manager in the day went out of her way to get us a table as we had arrived much earlier than planned. Breakfast was a different story as the muffin was very very stale and almost impossible to cut.We definitely won't be back and don't recommend it for anyone else. It's a real shame as the inn and location are stunning.

Food - we spent over £90 as a family of 4, on one adult sized, cold beef roast, one supposedly adult beef burger which only came with chips, no other sides, was luke warm and only slightly bigger than a child?s meal but about £10 more expensive. My daughter asked for a ploughman?s kids meal, so we were expecting soft bloomer style bread so she could put her sandwich together. She was given one slice of toast, a block of cheese, ham and a quarter of an apple. With a drink, that was just under £8 for a kids meal. Outrageously expensive for what it was. We asked for some soft bread so she could make a sandwich, they brought stale ciabatta. The staff were lovely, the venue is beautifully located but very cold in the room they put us in. We won?t return for food again and can?t recommend it. Nice for an expensive drink though.

Popped in for a drink after walking round the forest went it to find a cosy atmosphere with welcoming friendly staff would definitely visit
