We enjoyed a family get together this afternoon, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious (lots of choice) and there is a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space to relax and chat. We will be returning very soon. Lovely to have Jason the landlord back locally ?

Stayed in this extremely friendly pub/inn.
Staff were great, food delicious with a take on South African cuisine, room with a balconly was a bonus, and all within the new forest, definitely worth staying there.

Slowest service I've ever experienced. Also missed one starter completely. Even the soup stated took nearly an hour to come and they weren't even busy.

Fantastic food and lovely location. Had a Sunday roast. Service was excellent.
However. They automatically add on a service charge. This really annoys me and I have a silly stubborn ethic in life which will stop me going back..
I'm always happy to pay a tip but don't support restaurants that do it automatically!!!!
They did say it's added but in a full restaurant it's embarrassing to say remove it!

A sleep over stop on our family trip to Cornwall. Jason and the team are wonderful, our room was so well equipped and had everything we needed, so spacious in Willow room. Good food and drink all lovely and wow the breakfast was unreal with top quality ingredients and included. Best coffee too! We will return another time to visit New Hampshire National Park and stay here. Wild horses nearby and donkeys. Lovely interior in the pub. You must book! Special shout out to Abi on service, accommodating and kind.

booked a 60th party ,we ordered a pig roast and booked hire of the gardens and bar ,jason?s team was amazing bar staff really efficient with velvet leading the team
the roast and foods on the day were top notch and the breakfast the following morning was excellent a real little jem on the edge of the forest keep up the good work jason and keep on with the great foods on offer

Fantastic place and amazing service. I?ve booked one room with a hot tub and one without as it was a cheaper option for my group of four. I asked if it?s possible to get our rooms close to each other and we got two rooms with a hot tubs with no extra charge! It was our best stay ever! Thank you so much! Highly recommend you guys ???

Lovely place and although the fish and chips were good, the burger was awful! Was not made to feel welcome...customer service isn't a strong point and really needs some work. I wonder if this is why the place is quiet?

If you?re a dog lover & good food lover, this is the place for you. We came for my dogs birthday and they couldn?t be more accommodating for all of us. The food was incredible, great portions and great service. The garden area is beautiful and all areas including toilets are spotless. The pornstar Martini was also delicious! Couldn?t recommended this pub/restaurant any more.

My son treated us today for a Mother's day Sunday roast...what an awful meal...so disappointed ?.....next to no vegetables and the lamb was so very tough...not even a spoon for the condiments and the cauliflower cheese was a tiny little dish between 3 of us...we definitely won't be returning...so poor

Visited for dinner and the whole occasion was outstanding. The food was excellent, and the service was second to none. Absolutely worth a visit and we will be going back.

Beautiful pub/restaurant in beautiful setting with views of fields with ponies and lovely beer garden. We stayed in one of the rooms and the hot tub on private terrace was very relaxing listening to the birds in the garden

Terrible Experience ? Never Again
Visited an almost empty pub on a Saturday with three staff members, yet the service was still terrible. The only presumed lady who was perhaps the manager seemed inexperienced, and the staff were completely uninterested. Food was awful, and the overall experience was disappointing. Such a shame, I won?t be returning.
