Edit: boycotted permanently as of today.Good for timber, plasterboard, concrete etc but do not put yourself in a situation where you'll need to use their customer service. I've used their click & collect which is woefully slow and painful and cant be done at the same till as bits bought in store. Also today checked stock levels online (10x units apparently), only to get in store and ask staff members and staff tell me they aren't in stock. Shame I'll stick with Screwfix for everything other than building materials - they seem more knowledgeable and "can-do"

If I could give zero stars I would.\\n\\nI went to this wickes a couple of weeks ago to check out their garden tiling and what they had in stock as the website isn't always accurate.\\n\\nI also remembered while browsing that I needed a new garden hose.\\n\\nUpon checking what they had garden hose wise, decided to do the usual thing and compare the pricing with other competitors. I found the exact same one (30m hozelock) for 20 quid whereas wickes offered it for near 40 quid!\\n\\nI approached the cashier and asked if they price matched and when asking I discovered their big marketing banner about price promise (price match). Cashier spoke to supervisor over the radio and supervisor said yup sure thing put it through.\\n\\nI went to get the said item. Original cashier was busy and proceeded to the next available one. Upon putting it through the system, they then said they couldn't do it after saying they could!\\n\\nThat was really deceptive on their part!\\nPrice promise bunch of baloney. Morales and integrity misplaced.\\n\\nI certainly decided to not place the sizable garden tile order with them and walked straight out - no sale for you.

Not the most extensive range of goods, but I was impressed with the Wickes branded tools. Much better than the own branded tools from B&Q.

We just wanted to send a very spacial THANK YOU to the team of amazing people that were on late duty in Farnborough Wickes on 11/11/21. Thank you to all the boys that helped us to buy the lamonate floor at a great price (Wickes is simply unbeatable when it comes to sales they have in their stores). We are sending our greatest thanks to Kieran R. (We hope we got your name right, it's on the receipt). We arrived at the store 10 minutes before closing and without the help we received with calculating how many boxes we actually needed we would had walked out with nothing. Thanks to Kieran and his smart brain, amazing Maths skills, lovely attitude for the job role, and the patience most of all (as we were already way past the store's closing time), we walked out extatic having purchased our dream floor for £159 worth £608 (32 to boxes !). Best customer service we have received in years, all the members of the team we approached that evening were super friendly and helpful. We wanted to send a message to the manager of the store to ensure all the boys that assisted us on 11/11/21 in the evening recive a special Christmas bonus. They really deserve it. Thank you once again. We will return soon . Bestest wishes.

Good range but staff not always that bright. On most recent visit asked at least 2 guys on shop floor a question, only to find that they were agency staff and couldn't help! Come on Wickes, you lost my sale as a result yesterday, got the help I needed in B&Q instead, tut, tut, tut.

If I could give 0 stars for the overall service I would - Ordered the Kitchen in 2019, The fitting started just before COVID lockdown so I appreciate the issue at the time but its now Feb 2022 and still not finished ? - I went for the Intelliga range + solid granite worktop so not a cheap option - Designer was a good guy came around to check the measurements during the extension build, delivery was missing major items + space needed for storage was double requested (can live with that),Wicks fitter was good and was the only one to give any real service, separate contractor employed by wicks came to template and fit the work top, all measurements were wrong so had to wait another 2 months for to be fabricated again? + tried to say it was my issue as i never gave them the design, I spoke with the fitter about this and he informed me they would not of come out the template without wicks providing the design - Fitter came back to finish the works but incorrect hinges sent for the washing machine door, several calls later they send incorrect parts again, fitter gets involved stating what he needs but again incorrect parts sent again - Called wicks several times but no resolution - lived with no door on the washing machine for 18months - Now ordered from Amazon and will fit myself ? - My real concern is that the contract states no payment until i have signed the kitchen off yet despite this the money has gone out and they have been paid - Once paid that is when the lack of response came in from wicks, I guess that is my fault for wanting to pay my bill and trusting a Major company

Not a happy customer me. Just been to collect my order. Was told by the customer service person that "I've been on my own all day so I haven't been able to pick your order" fair enough I thought, thinking he was going to go and pick it then. Nope. He goes "You can go and pick it yourself though". Thanks. So I spent the next 15 minutes, walking around the store, trying to find my items. Find them, leave, get home and it seems as though the electric shower I have purchased, is a return because it was full of water and has completely destroyed the box and soaked my car.

Great off the shelf kitchens far superior to b and q take away kitchens. Have great online services regarding stock as it's bit temperamental at the moment due to driver shortages. Has plenty of stock in store every time I go.
