An elderly client of mine suspected that she may have gotten a call from a scammer and wanted to double check that everything was in check with her bank and we spoke to a lovely woman called Jay. She was so patient and helpful and was able to reassure my client that everything was well. What a star!

Rude unhelpful staff had my mum in tears today! The customers in the branch were more helpful and empathetic then the actual staff.

Unfortunately as bad as the Fleet branch. Was told by Santander telephone banking that I could carry out a service in branch and they called Farnborough to make sure I didnt have any trouble when I arrived. On arrival a receptionist at the front of the branch informed me that it could not be done and she knew for certain as had been with them for over 15 years. Asked to speak to the manager who then confirmed she had taken the call and that it could be. Santander have totally lost sight of the point to their branches and their jobs to serve their customers. Wouldnt surprise me if Santander will eventually ditch their high street presence all together.

Had to settle a £60,500 mortgage three years in to a deal. Was astonished to find Santander charge 5% ERC for ending a mortgage anytime during a deal. Nationwide on the otherhand have a sliding scale 5% for first year, 4% second year, 3% third year, 2% fourth year etc. Santander charged me £3025 + Management Fee. Would have cost me £1,210 with Nationwide. Really check the details before signing up to a mortgage as a chane of circumstances could really cost you. Thank God I didnt have a £300,000 mortgage otherwise it would have cost me £15,000

I just would like to say a big thank you to Astra who helped me so much with my bank account, credit card and home insurance! She spent an hour and a half with me and she probably missed her lunch break to help me! Thank you so much Astra! I am sorry that I am moving home, otherwise I would always ask for you for anything I need :)

My husband and I visited the Farnborough Branch on May 20th. We were greeted by Minnie Aujlq, Service Control Manager. The service we received from her was, without doubt, first class, friendly and extremely efficient.
