Typical Premier Inn. Unfortunately continuing the trend of no air-con and windows that open about two inches, so far too hot.

No air conditioning in room working when it's 33°c outside terrible 2 night sleep

Where do I even start. It's so bad I don't know where to begin. The rooms are scruffy. The Aircon doesn't work. When I told the staff in the morning it was apparent they couldn't care less about my sleepless night. When you enter your room there is no WiFi or phone reception but step outside and it all returns perfectly, this is a deliberate Faraday Cage to extract money. When I pointed this out I was offered 8mbps WiFi... What is this? the 1990's?... Had the worst nights sleep I've had in years just before a very important interview.... Thanks for nothing Premier Inn..... The annexed Brewers Fayre was really awful as well... I'd ask for my money back but the staff don't seem to care and I'm betting management don't either....

Very slow Internet, close to unusable. Very hot rooms in the summer.

I was put up here for a week as I was working locally in the area. This has to be the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The standards here are non existent. Most staff are rude, there are the odd few who are genuinely friendly. Not once did anyone I pass in the corridor look at me with a smile or a hello.
I had a top floor room, just over the entrance. The fan in my room kept it at a cool 25-26c, with no air con. The toilet still had stains. There was no room service, so no change of towels etc unless asked for. Along with waking up around 6am every morning for their ?fresh? linen delivery. A lorry horn isn?t my preferred alarm clock usually. I asked to change room, they couldn?t be less interested. Apparently this wasn?t possible, with the other 7 people staying here occupying every single other room.
Then the food! They fry their eggs using a laminator and you get told what seat to sit in, in an empty restaurant. The bar staff in the evening are rude and messed up my order on 3 of the 4 nights I ate there. The last night I ate there, it took them over an hour to get my food to me (just a burger and chips). And I?m still waiting for some peppercorn sauce I paid for with my steak on Wednesday night too. Maybe they?ll do room service before I go?
If I?m in the area again in the future, I?d rather sleep in my car.

Fine premier inn for what it is. Not complaints. If you buy breakfast then get it tripple checked at reception and take in a receipt to breakfast to avoid a row.

This morning was a bright crispy March morning and as a disabled person I thought this is the ideal time to go out on my disability scooter to the local Beefeater which is about one and a half miles away from where I live, traveling at a maximum of 4 miles per hour it takes approximately 20 minutes to get there. Upon arriving I was certainly ready for a full English breakfast, a rare treat for me and to warm up from the crisp but Sunny cold morning. When I stood at reception to get a table and I advised I was not staying at the hotel, to which the response was I'm sorry we only have one Chef on today so we're not taking in any walk-ins, I said I'm disabled and I've just traveled a long way and I'm cold I politely protested and the waitress said I'm sorry with a Blank Stare. I decided to walk away in disgust rather than trying to argue with this girl. I have no complaints about the breakfast there as it's usually very good but due to their non-consideration for a disabled person I don't think I'll be going back

I've stayed at this hotel a few times due to the convenience of the airport for work. However over the past few weeks, whilst the staff are always friendly and polite, their hands are tied to the barebones rooms, basic level of quality/service and NO wifi.
Yes the rooms are clean and the breakfast ladies are lovely and courteous but you pay for that service as an extra. £125 a night for a room that was cold, no wifi, bedroom door didnt lock, come on... Your a two star hotel at best! very poor...

The room smelled bathroom fan is going to look at. Pillow that was in the bag smelt funny and had no seal on the bag. Mould on window sill. They are renovating, so could it be that? Not there usual standard. Man on duty 100% A credit to you. Not a good night's sleep?

First thing the bath waste was blocked, plus there was work going on below our room, we were informed about it before we checked in, but the glue fumes coming into our room in the morning were overpowering.

A good location with plenty parking. Came for a work trip and unfortunately they were having unexpected construction! Working from 6AM-9PM was incredibly annoying as it was directly beneath my room and woke me up. Having to pay £5 for ?ultimate? wifi which barely worked was annoying as this did affect my work. The restaurant was dull and closed when I did decide to eat there!
