I have just had the worst customer service ever from this store! Went in to buy a Iphone 16 out right no contract just the phone and pay for it on my company business card. I was forced to buy a unwanted pay as you go sim card for £10 on top of the cost of the phone £880.56 in total. I make the payment and then I am told by the sales person that an error had been made by their system and my money would be refunded! Yet the funds had left my bank account as if payment had been made in full and excepted. I was then rudely informed by another member of staff that it will take up to 24 hours for me to recieve MY money back. So half an hour wasted of my time plus £880.56 removed from my bank and NO phone!
I will update this review in 24 hours to update my situation..

Firstly, I want to express my appreciation for Mr. Singh, who was working in a security role during my visit. He was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. His calm and respectful attitude made a positive impression and truly reflected well on the store. He ensured customers felt acknowledged and respected while Greeting a rare quality that's worth recognising.

Gordon the manager was very helpful the day he wanted business to sign up a contract but the next day I went in as there was a problem he was rude disrespectful and pushy . Its not ok to treat customers like this .

The staff in this shop haven?t got a clue what they are doing. Gordon the manager is pushy, disrespectful and rude to customers. It's the most dysfunctional phone shop I've ever been in, Gordon is also rude to his colleagues. We went to the Camberley branch who were brilliant and helpful who are well aware the Farnborough branch doesn't provide an acceptable service.

The manager is rude and unprofessional, shouting when on his personal phone with customers everywhere. He point blank refuses to help his colleagues with an aggressive tone. Some staff seem clueless which may feed into why he's aggressive. Overall very unprofessional with a serious lack of knowledge in general.

Went into 02 in Farnborough yesterday and went to one of your colleagues asked him if he could help me with my vigina media and he had no clue what he was doing his customer service was very disappointing. We have since gone into your Camberley branch and have sorted out what we need to have sorted the man we saw was suson and he was very professional.

Went into to purchase upgrade this morning,was greeted by an awesome young man called Nico. What an absolute joy it was to do business with him. He was extremely helpful. 5 stars for you Nico and all the best for the future

Appalling service and treatment of a loyal customer of 14 yrs. Being called a liar by a staff member in the middle of the shop in front of all the staff and other customers! Really, is this the level of professionalism that O2 provide? Think you are smart and clever how you dealt with us Saturday 14th June over our upgrades, we'll see how smart and clever you are when we've finished our complaint with Head Office. Your staff in the store are a disgrace and should be sacked! They also refused my wife a credit check telling her that she would fail it!!!
Reading these reviews it's clear that the shop has staff and management issues H/O need a clear out!

I never write reviews, but you seriously need to avoid this shop. On Friday I collected my new phone, when I asked for help in setting up it up, I was told we only do that on Saturdays, I asked why this was, apparently it?s because the WiFi is rubbish, obviously I asked if it was better on Saturdays? I asked to speak the the manager, he told that there is more staff to help, I politely pointed out the shop was empty and there was 3 members of staff to help me. He start yelling and pointing his finger in my face, screaming to get out of his shop. At the door I requested his name which he refused to give it, covering his badge, then grab my arm to push me out the door. Yes you guessed it his name was Gordon, who seems to be mentioned a lot in the reviews, reported to O2.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this O2 shop was bad enough that I feel compelled to warn others?specifically about a staff member named Gorden. From the moment I walked in, it was clear he had zero interest in helping anyone. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like every question I asked was a burden. It was obvious he had little to no knowledge about the products or services O2 offers, and even basic inquiries seemed to irritate him.
What made it worse was how disrespectful he was?not just to customers, but to his own colleagues. I actually saw him interrupt and talk over another staff member who was trying to help someone else. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Honestly, he looked like he didn?t want to be there and made sure everyone else felt the same.
I left without getting the help I needed and will not be returning. O2, if you're reading this, you need to seriously reconsider who you have representing your brand.

Had a problem with losing my line having been dealing with O2 as a result of changing SIM to an eSIM. Decided to go miles to an O2 store - what a bad idea!! Gordon was unable to verify my account after 20 minutes of repeatedly asking me for my driving licence, my bank account, my last payment, my security word, my last phone call, and cycling round and round again, typing with one finger from my driving licence... Eventually he reluctantly called O2, and handed me his phone. Needless to say I passed the O2 security with no issue, and the O2 employee said that they would ask him to install the eSIM as I had not received it. However, Gordon said he would give me a physical SIM instead as I had problems installing the new SIM - this was incorrect as I had told the O2 employee on the phone, I had not received the eSIM. I gave up. I found his attitude difficult and somewhat belligerent as he appeared incompetent and continually told me to calm down over about 30 minutes (not sure - as it was a loong time) of wasted time

The manager gorden was completely RUDE
I waited over an hour for a pre order that I needed to pick up I waited till 3 then came into the store a staff member told me they were here but hadn't been booked on yet.
So I waited! As a disabled person I did not want to wait very long but waited for over an hour even tho he knew I was waiting I believe he was talking to someone out back, then another customer came in a waited too
After an half an hour of waiting I asked again and by the time I got the phone it was an hour and 15 minutes wait! I have pots that is unpredictable and means I can pass out so did not want to wait it a very lit store that was hurting my eyes and making me feel dizzy.
After getting the phone I asked for help on what to do next and a staff member did help me (Ash)
I have put in an official complaint as I don't want this happening to another customer and to see these reviews I'm shocked at how gorden has not changed when it comes to customer service.

We popped into the Farnborough O2 store at around 3.45 this afternoon (23rd January). There was one member of staff there and he was very friendly. We wanted to ask him about a Bolt On for a trip to Costa Rica as we are already O2 customers and he gave us very useful advice. My wife also mentioned a problem we had with transferring photos from my phone and he quickly explained an alternative route - which works great! So I just wanted to say many thanks to him. Unfortunately I didn't take his name but he is doing a first rate job! 10/10!

Very mixed experience. I went to o2 Farnborough in November to change my old iphone 13 that was out of contract. Initially I was very pleased, a very polite Sales rep called Ash helped me out and offered a good deal on an upgrade. However, there was an issue that came up and I was told that the finance company would contact me the next working day to confirm a few details before the order could be completed. After a week of waiting I returned to the store having not been contacted by them and while Ash was yet again helpful and contacted them for me the company were of no help and couldn?t care less seemingly. I commend the customer service of Ash very highly however I can?t recommend o2 themselves due to my experience with getting my new phone. The only benefit to them compared to others in the market is priority at music venues. Otherwise, I would suggest other brands.
