Lured in by the glowing reviews and in need of decent accommodation whilst attending a nearby sporting event, I booked Melford House and certainly wasn't disappointed. It's as good as it's made out to be, and then some - clean and well-equipped rooms, super food, great hosts in Willem and Chess and your very own private pub in the garden. My fellow guests and I spent some time trying to work out spurious reasons to come back and visit again....

Such a welcoming and charming hotel. Owners Will and Chess are incredibly friendly and see that anything you need is provided. I was greeted with an ice cold jug of water each time I returned to my room. The breakfast was really well cooked and served with strong coffee and good conversation. You really get the feeling you are appreciated as a guest. If ever in these parts for leisure I will 100% be staying here. Thank you both!!

Lovely place to stay the rooms are very clean the house is on a quiet road. We had a really good breakfast full English. The owners are great people very helpful nice to talk to. Defo recommended this place

On a family trip to Southampton , stayed here 2 night , beautifully kept British home , with caring owners , great to get a true British family home experience greeting with nice smiles information and a fresh clean room overlooking the garden , nice home cooked breakfast made us feel right at home , tucked away in a nice residential area minutes from shops and pubs and Indian restaurant which we love trying and did not disappoint

Loved it. Relaxed stay, clean and comfy room. Felt like home away from home. Beautiful green neighbourhood and surroundings with a short walk to the centre. Melford House is a little gem in the upmarket part of Farnborough. Very well located, just a few minutes walk from Farnborough town centre and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. It?s also well located to the airport. Very accessible by car from the main roads and M3. Ample parking on site. Will and Chess were very hospitable from the moment I arrived. They accommodated an early check in and throughout the whole stay were very warm and welcoming. Melford House feels like a second home. The rooms are great, comfortable, clean, good shower. Breakfast is great and with lots of choices. They have a small bar with lots of different unique beers etc. they serve food which is also very tasty. Thank you Will and Chess for making this a memorable stay. I hope to come back again in the future when I?m in the country!

We stayed here for 5 nights , we loved the hotel couldnt fault a thing , the owners are so welcoming, would definitely stay again and would recommend the hotel to anyone, so much better than staying in a big chain hotel

Ches and Will were great hosts,lovely home cooked food,room was nice and a little surprise pub in the garden.
