I brought a 42 inch tv and got home and opened it and the screan was all cracked, took it back to explain and i was blamed for doing the damage and there was so exchange or refund. I wont ever be shopping here again and i will be taking this further with the company and even take it to court if i have to.

Awful service, both members of staff who I had any interaction with were very dismissive and seemed like they couldnâ??t be bothered, some people dont want to look things up themselves and rely on the â??professionalsâ?? to help, but when they donâ??t give you the time of day, itâ??s not at all helpful! I remember when going to PC World was an adventure. You could browse isles stacked with every imaginable component and periphery. O how the world has changed. Great for those who want to buy a computer (or fridge) but haven't yet discovered online shopping

This is a big shop for electronics, digital and general office, and house gadgets. I went here to buy a microphone and a 360 camera, but they don't do 360 cameras anymore. I asked one of the sales assistants why they don't have 360 cameras anymore and his answer was "Is something to do with the head office"- how come the "head office" doesn't inform their staff why they don't have a product in stock anymore?. Apparently, they had a few, put them on sales, and it is a shame I was not around during this time to get a bargain. I really don't need a 360 camera as I have nothing to do with it that is super important, but I could use it to take pictures for Google and put more interesting photos.

Really awesome staff. Friendly and know what they are talking about. Considering now we lost maplins. One of the last good places to buy and see what you are buying. Price match to Amazon's own prices. I'll be going back that's for sure!

Like most branches staff lack basic customer service skills like making eye contact and smiling when you're trying to look for someone to help. They'd rather keep their head down, hide somewhere, be on their phones or my favourite- chatting to a colleague about their drunken bank holiday weekend.

Had to wait an age to be helped to choose washing machine then first member of staff was so bad. Her answer to every question was "it's fine"! She just wanted a sale and did not care about the suitability at all - pure opinion and no facts.

Went to buy a 2 in 1 laptop left without buying one as they tried to upsell me products I didn't want or need despite me telling him this he tried to bs me with talk of how only they should copy your files from pc as there could be viruses and hidden files that you would miss or not bring accross he spoke utter nonsense I said but if you have a virus checker there will not be any contaminated files he then further tried to bs me that was when u told him I supported 60,000 users for large companies. Your sales team are supposed to help people get the right products for them and their needs not con into buying things we don't need

Bought a laptop in here a few weeks ago. I browsed the store looking lost, not really sure what was my best option. There were more staff than customers, yet nobody attempted to assist me for over 30 minutes. Eventually a member of staff from the other side of the store came over to help me, and he was very helpful. If it wasn't for that, I'd have given 1 star.
To add to this, their staff are in sales. I got told by another member of staff the day before, to wait until the new models came out next week. Although that's great advice for me, I could have walked out the store and googled where I can get the newest model, then bought it elsewhere. I thought that showed perfectly the level of training they have recieved.

I usually buy everything I can online, but Currys is a great place to visit to touch and feel the products you're interested in. On this occasion we were looking to buy a Dyson hoover and has a product expert on hand to assist who was very knowledgeable.

Service incredibly slow. Computer associate was on his break and no one else could help us make our purchase. After a wait of more than 20 minutes in store without air conditioning we were finally served. Had it not been for my partner pointing out that the iPad was smaller than the cover he had been given by the computer associate to go with his new iPad we would have left the store with an item that had been incorrectly sold to us. Come on Currys of Farnborough Gate get your act together fellas.
