Went to visit Whitley Shopping Centre and unfortunately had a really bad experience with the security that monitored the area. Was wanting to take photos of my friends there to share and I was told that you are not allowed to take photos whilst you visit as it is private owned even though it?s a publicly accessible area. We had already been to a local restaurant to eat and drink and wanted some photos in the high street.When challenged he said he doesn?t need to give us a reason, ?I?ve already said you need to stop taking photos and now you?re trespassing? even though the barriers are wide open and other members of public are around me.Thanks for the experience ?

Plenty of shops and parking, even when busy it's a nice place to shop or have a coffee.

Despite how full the car park is, there's always loads of room to mill about. Good selection of shops and restaurants. 4 hours free parking is plenty.

Mainly clothes, disappointing for an out of town shopping centre it leaves a lot to be desired. Portsmouth Town the same. Southampton only place worth shopping in.
