Fuel pump charged me at least 50p before dispensing any fuel ? pump 8
and nothing worse than a faulty trigger on the pump clicking every second ?
the store is generally pretty good on the plus side.

Easy access for fuel and food

I only go to the Fareham Sainsbury's if it's on my way home. The reason I'm giving it two stars is because I've seen food on the shelf that SHOULD clearly be in the bin, I had to get a supervisor and pointed it out so someone isn't doing their job properly ? the pictures were taken a month apart so the person that thinks it's okay to reduce items in such poor condition hasn't been spoken to or just doesn't care. As you can see it's clearly inedible so why reduce it.

Shocking at the tills! Only 2/3 proper tills and about a dozen self service machines. Basket end chained off at the side but open still. Had to access from the trolley only end. Far away and we couldnt see which ones were free to use.
Very very busy. Lots of sscos closed. Only one poor young lady was in charge of them all ?
Ridiculous situation. ??
Few angry customers because she was so busy she took ages to help any tills with problems ?
Then a customer dropped a bottle of beer. The customer actually ended up mopping up the damaged item herself!! ?
Should have had 2 staff minimum on them, if not 3!

Firstly I'd like to say this is in no way a reflection of the lady that was being run ragged this morning at the Fareham Broadcut store, she was professional and doing her job as well as she could under the circumstances. this issue has been steadily getting worse since you got rid of the human checkout and went to robot.
My gripe is with Sainsburys and the Management of this store.
I shop here probably twice a month between 2 and £300 each time. I get there at opening at 7am and normally done by 8:30 latest.
Why oh why are there no checkout lanes open???? I have between 50 to 60 items minimum. I don't want to check them out my self. I,m retired, I'm done working. I pay your premium prices, now you expect me to work for you for free for the privilege??? If you are going to open at 7am you better have some real live checkout people on the till, or you'll get the same result as this morning, 2 or £300 of goods defrosting in a cart and needing a warm body to restock it all anyway. Wouldn't you rather have my money???
Come to think of it i drive right past Lidl to get to your 'Superstore', its probably better i give them my money instead of trying to get some service at your location.
