I wish these reviews were in date order, and that the oldest ones would drop off after a period. There were consistently bad reviews some years ago, but things and some staff have changed since then. It is not fair that the current regime suffer ratings based on their predecessors.
My one criticism is that there often is not sufficient stock, but as my medication is consistently the same, I overcome that issue by knowing to re-order it a few days before I need it.
In my experience based over the last two years and the last year in particular, I have found the staff here to be friendly, thorough, and very accommodating. I have NO plans to go elsewhere.

Came here for travel vaccinations and it was a great experience! Booked me in with 2 days notice, all other pharmacies such as boots were booked up for weeks for this service, so this was great! My appointment started on time and the pharmacist was so lovely, made me feel really comfortable and at ease and was very knowledgeable. Also slightly cheaper than the chain pharmacies!

Pharmacy is improving after new management. The previous management were so bad it may take some time to get better. Unfortunately my local GP surgery in Portchester is still managed badly so this doesn't help things at all! To all the people who I have seen being very rude to front end staff have a heart, they try their best and life is tough enough without putting up with mild abuse most days.

Very often do not have prescibed medication in stock which results in having to return the following day only to discover there is no pharmacist on site so again denied the medication and expected to just keep on trying my luck. I have experienced this on three separate occasions months apart. Any show of exasperation is met with indifference. Avoid this pharmacy.

Long wait for prescriptions, not delivering when should. Sometimes it's been there all along but not sent or given when previously gone into there to collect. Highly probable my mother died because she was often waiting on very important medication and missed too many doses.

Very angry and disappointed, not for myself but for my mother, who is unable to deal with ordering or collecting her medication anymore. I have had to sort out my mum's prescriptions since end of March 2024, every time without fail!!!!! They have either got it wrong, not had item's, been told items have not been ordered when the exact person we spoke to was the one who took the order only days earlier, been told its been delivered when it hasn't, told conflicting information by 2 members of staff, being told some medication needs to be ordered at the chemist and some from the doctors, which I then did to be told its not. Resulting in medication not being ordered at all. Blamed the doctors, who I have also spoken to about this. Why is it so difficult? Surely you put a prescription in and then collect it allowing them time to complete it. I have also while standing in there waiting again....witnessed other customers having issues/problems. I would without a doubt change where I collect her medication, I am utterly appalled at the service and the total disregard for the welfare of a frail old lady and her medication.

I?m back to the area after 25 years away , the service I have received in person and on the phone , is the best service I have received from a chemist , with a large prescription every month . So would like to thank all for your kindness

Only had half of my prescription, which is the issue, but told me to come back a day later to collect, which I couldn't as I was working, when I arrived a day later they told me it was ordered and I had to come back 3 days later!
