They have put a stupid bloody gate in the shop and the reciept printer on the self service never works so I have to climb out of the shop half the time because the lazy staff never open a checkout to let you through
What about people who decide to leave without buying?

I've been shopping at Lidl for lunch nearly every weekday for over 8 years, as I work close by. However, the recent installation of self-service tills has negatively impacted my shopping experience. Since I usually only buy 1 or 2 items and prefer to pay with cash, I'm now forced to use the single manned till, as the self-service tills only accept card payments. This is frustrating because I often have to wait in line behind customers doing large weekly shops.
To make matters worse, during my last visit, after waiting in line for a considerable time, the cashier left her station to assist a customer at the self-service tills, despite the fact they had only been waiting for a minute. I was left standing at the front of the queue, and it added to the already long wait. Overall, this new system has made the shopping experience much less convenient for quick purchases like mine.
