It was early morning, and I went in for a coffee, which was okay.
The cheese sandwich was overheated, unfortunately leading to the cheese exuding from the bread and being too crisp.
This set me back £8.99!!!!!!!

So asked for Black Forest hot chocolate but they gave it to me without cream , when I asked for cream to which she said "you asked for black forest hot chocolate ", I said if you look in the picture it comes with cream. So she gave me cream, which ran out, and then she was going to give me that, so I asked for more cream as it was a tiny amount , so they she found some eventually then that ran out, so it was no where near what the picture looked like .
So Costa either makes sure you have the supplies in, and your staff have the right attitude for the public because she clearly did not ?

Spent 30 mins queueing to order then spent another 20 mins to obtain my two hot chocolates. Absolutely ridiculous. The lady making drinks was faffing and not really doing much. Total go slow. 4 members of staff so not even short staffed! Bloke behind the till was sarcastic.

Really poor service. The manager or older staff member is beyond rude to the younger staff. You can see the customers are uncomfortable how she treats them. If that was child being spoke to like I?d have a word. Those kids have a Saturday or weekend job, working hard with a long queue and she?s rude. Also other staff don?t clean the tables or cups away unless you ask. Really poor service.

We came here for waters and we are kids and one of the employees was really rude she said uhhh we only do it in glasses and she was really nice to other customers and we had plastic cups yesterday . And we had to wait for 20 mins

It's the worst Costa around. The Manager is so rude to the younger staff, every thing I've ever had from there is wrong and it's because she rings it up wrong, doesn't listen. They never have any of the seasonal drinks available and recently they had no bread or bread based foods and no till roll so she was shouting the orders out at the poor girl making drinks who of course couldn't remember them all. It's always a shambles in here.

I used to be a regular in this shop, used to love the atmosphere last year with the old team. New staff member with white hair and name badge Cheryl, I believe she?s the new manager, does not know at all or take any care in making anyone?s drinks or food (being corrected multiple times by multiple members of staff i?ve not seen before, burnt toasted sandwich, obviously not done much training), very rude, shouting at other younger members of staff for unclear reasons, not at all professional and unfortunately will not be returning anymore due to these issues. This is no longer a nice place to go with my partner. This coffee shop needs a whole interior redo, toilet roll holder mouldy, lights constantly flickering, chipped mug. Management needs a shift around too, surprised nothings said about this before.

Very welcoming staff team creating a lovely warm environment with excellent coffee of course too! A great place to work for a few hours!Vegetarian options: Unfortunately as the fridge was broken, I was not able to see all the options BUT the staff member who served me was really helpful in letting me know all they were able to offer
