Staff are nice and it's great that they allow dogs in. What lets it down is the cleanliness . Lights covered in cobwebs, half the bulbs are out, displays covered in dust and cobwebs. Door filthy and tables not always cleaned when they cleared. The floor throughout requires a deep clean.

Lovely staff, great quality coffee. But I will avoid in future as my experience was ruined by the presence of too many dogs. I have a fear of dogs as well as allergies. There were three dogs present in the short time we visited. One of them was actually sitting on the furniture, which truly gave me the ick. I have huge reservations about the hygiene issues around dogs being allowed where food is served and eaten. But for them to be on furniture is gross for other customers, not to mention those who have pet allergies. It's unfair to expect staff to police them - they are busy enough. If Cafe Nero are determined to allow dogs, surely some robust and obvious signage regarding keeping them off the furniture would be a good idea. Or even keep a dog free area to show some consideration for the customers who don't like them.

Love that Caffe Nero is dog friendly, and this morning it was like dog heaven here! Coffee is always decent, as is the food. And served with a smile which is always a bonus ?
