I booked a table for my sisters surprise 50th birthday. I thought that I had booked for a hightea but I made the mistake by not mentioning it to the lady over the phone . We weren't disappointed anyway as the food and the atmosphere is wonderful . They make you feel welcome when you arrive and there is plenty to choose from . I will definitely return to eat and have a drink , maybe call them before to book for a hightea .

I was in yesterday. We had breakfast, which was excellent. We also bought some pies to take home, we live in Leicestershire, steak and ale, steak and Stilton and a couple of corned beef. They were the best pies I?ve ever eaten.

Glad to see it's still going. Lovely lunch today. Would just ask the lady with the dark hair please speak more slowly when going through things, us and the other table struggled with grasping everything as it was reeoed off so quickly!! Lovely place and we will be back :)

Lovely little gem we found when searching for brunch places in Fareham. We just moved to the area and love places like this. Food was amazing, all home made. My partner and i had eggs royale, and salmon sandwich. The salmon was very good portion and the bread was well made. Also had the chorizo and halloumi sausage roll, perfection. The staff were friendly and kind. Very highly recommended and will surely visit again.

Incredible food and the hot drinking are piping hot!
I recommend the caprese cibatta there was so much mozzarella it was falling out the sides!

If I want to treat someone to a nice hot drink with a bite to eat - I always come here, as you can't go wrong with Cackleberrys!
This place has got its unique and cozy character, very attentive service and delicious food! They do amazing cakes, sandwich platters and lush hot drinks! Portions are of a very good size too!
I highly recommend it!!

First time here. Happened to be in the area. Quaint and peaceful interior. Don?t usually have a mince pie this time year but it was so worth it. Best I?ve tasted. Great looking selection savoury pastries

Nice place, would recommend the Lime and courgette cake . Had the tea because I didn?t want to pay 40p extra for decaf coffee , this happens nowhere else I visit, also wanted to charge 40p extra for non dairy milk. Staff very friendly manager a bit ott interrupted the lady sorting my bill causing her to lose her train of thought.
Dietary restrictions: Wanted to charge more for decaf coffee and milk alternatives. That?s so wrong !

Lovely hidden gem. We were in a hurry, bought coffee, hot chocolate and freshly baked savoury pastries. Absolutely delicious, staff were friendly and the decor made it warm, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return so I can stay a while!!
