Had a consultation on the Clinique counter with Isobel, can not recommend her enough. Extremely knowledgeable about her products, helpful, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Had to visit the pharmacy a couple of weeks ago now on a Sunday. Emergency prescription. The Gentleman that served me was extremely helpful as was worried and sorted my prescription for the same day . Thank you

I recently visited the Boots in Fareham shopping mall , just before closing time and was genuinely impressed by the pharmacist, John. Despite the late hour, he remained calm, professional, and welcoming. He took the time to listen to my concerns about sinus problems and offered fantastic support through the NHS 111 service. John thoroughly assessed my symptoms and provided excellent advice and treatment, which meant I didn?t need to visit a GP.
It was clear he truly cared about my wellbeing, and I?m incredibly grateful for the high level of service. I highly recommend this pharmacy for anyone in need of helpful and compassionate care.

Disappointed with customer service?
visited this shop recently and asked for a bag after making a purchase, but I wasn?t given one. I found it quite inconvenient, especially since carrying the items without a bag was difficult.
I hope the store can improve on this in the future.

Becky on the No.7 stand is so lovely, I was wanting some make up to take on holiday and she was so helpful, spent time going through different options, really knows her stuff.

Lovely and helpful staff but I would love a later closing time. Many people work until 5 and aren't able to make it to take their prescriptions out by 5:30. Maybe have at least a day when it closes at 6 or 6:30.

I went there yesterday with my mum and this lady who worked at the clinique section, her name is Isobel,was very welcoming and friendly to us and offered to do my shade match, then she sat me down and gently applied some foundation all over and applied a blush that was a shade I've never used before and it looked stunning. She then gave me a foundation sample and gave me and my mum a moisturiser sample. Definitely would recommend, thank you Isobel.

Today (7 April 2025), I had the misfortune to have to deal with an extremely unpleasant member of Boots Fareham staff. My husband had bought an item in Boots last week but didn?t have his Boots card with him so we were asking to have the points added. We approached the staff member at the self service tills and asked if this was possible. Denis was very abrupt, saying the receipt should have been validated. He turned his back on me and marched off to a till. I followed over, asking what that meant (validating the receipt). He snatched the receipt from me, demanded my card and was generally extremely unpleasant. Continually calling me ?Madam? in a very patronising tone. He did add the points but I left wishing I hadn?t bothered. Denis has a very unpleasant manner and should not be in a customer facing position/role.

Constant trouble getting prescriptions here. To get through on the phone is at least a six or seven calls job. I once called the pharmacy while I was in there, and the phone was on vibrate, so no one could hear. I had in repeat prescription slips, and medication is often left out. Some staff don't listen, and seem to be confused when explaining NHS services used, as if they haven't been trained. Staff at times also come across complacent, and lacking initiative. I get being busy, and better pharmacies around are closing, but Boots, you've got to do something about it.

I?m a fan of self check out but occasionally I?ve had a problem with loyalty cards during check out. On this occasion, a nasty male member of staff on duty, came over, took my card from me, performed a wave in front of the machine then left! This resulted in me being in the same situation as I was before he arrived! He?d returned to his position at the entrance to the self checkout and proceeded to reside over his public. A very nice young couple next to me decided to help ( even though they weren?t 100% expert they persisted) I was at the checkout right next to where the nasty member of staff was standing so he couldn?t have failed to have observed. After a few minutes I thanked them and commented that they were much more helpful than this member of staff. I must say this is the first time I?ve experienced this either in Boots or anywhere where these new checkouts have been employed. It was so uncalled for and I did nothing to deserve such dismissive behavior. When I arrived at the checkout it was not busy even though it was Saturday 14th December and approx 1300.Not a good advert for Boots nor gives confidence to the elderly who sometimes find new tech.challenging. I?m not in the habit of giving reviews either bad or good but on this occasion I feel justified.

I went in looking for advice and was so glad I approached Gracie. Very smiley and polite, very approachable and knowledgeable, she recommended some great products, which I will be buying again. Her colleague was also very helpful on the MAC counter.

Boots is a great retail outlet for all kinds of stuff. However, on 2 occasions now I have been unable to get particular prescribed medication there. It was out of stock and they had no idea if or when stock would be available. Staff were not helpful and suggested I try elsewhere. Superdrug also didn't have the meds I needed but arranged with another pharmacy, who had the meds, to set them aside for me to collect within the next 15 minutes. Poor show Boots, great help from Superdrug. I know where I am going next time I need meds and it is not Boots.
