The menu is a bit limited it would be nice for some choice ie baked potato or new potato instead of chips service was great just a little disappointed with the menu on offer but what I did eat was cooked

Waited nearly a hour. When the food arrived it was very disappointing. Frozen roast potatoes fatty lamb (which was described that would be slightly red).Cost 14.99 had to pay extra for cauliflower cheese. Drinks ordered was wrong. Service was excellent didn't get her

Came with the family for a few drinks and dinner. Had some calamari and cocktails ?? Kelly was amazing she was so polite and helpful and provided such a lovely service to us all. Thank you and we will be back soon!!!

The food wasn?t great and they messed up the steak twice, and it just wasn?t good overall, but the staff that worked were over worked and under staffed yet still gave a fantastic service! Especially our waitress Carolyn who was incredible. Thank you to her!

Visited the Oasts with my friends for a special occasion and they did not fail - it was my friends birthday and the waitress brought over some chocolates - I thought this was a great touch to add to our already amazing experience. Great food and awesome service - thank you !

Absolutely dreadful, Lasagna was small, like, child portion size, tasteless, and the waiting staff even admitted it wasn't 'homemade' and was literally just microwaved. £72 for two adults and one child to dine, two courses and two drinks. Will absolutely definitely NOT be going back

It was a god experience with nice food and good value. Nice interior and since been taken on new management it has gotten much better, menu is good too with a good variety of food and drink.

As always (we have been coming here 20+years)we had a wonderful experience, leasa was attentive without being intrusive the food showed the kitchen really cares about presentation, the quality and value was brilliant, the manager who showed us to our table was funny and multitasking whats not to like

We visit the Oast and Esquire on a regular basis, and are never disappointed. Yes there are times when the restaurant is busy but all staff are friendly, helpful, and endeavor to help whatever is going on! There are many excellent staff members that I would like to commend, but I am afraid I only have four names so far, Declan and Wayne, always always providing a great service and fixing things you didn't even know needed fixing! Caroline, who was our server this week and couldn't be more efficient, friendly or helpful. The next time we come over I will be sure to get names to write another review. Thank you all and sorry to those whose names I do not know x

I had been very much looking forward to a meal here with my family, and to use my birthday voucher. To keep it very brief, the service was awful. I felt as if we were invisible. I have been coming here very regularly for several years with a friend. The evening experience has made me re-think for our future get togethers.
