Sadly, this was my only physical bank and on arriving in Fareham on August 26th, 2025, I found the place closed, boarded up, desolate. How am I supposed to get help now, deposit large amounts of cash, or ready cash as even the ATM's are gone. Pure insanity!

Wow what a team, firstly kerrie helped us with our autistic son, helping with a new account, she was patient and explained everything in a way our son understood, kerrie has a lovely manner with her customers ?
Nothing was too much effort for her, answering all our concerns.
Also must mention Matt, what a lovely man.
Remember him from the Waterlooville Branch, not only is he helpful and professional but humorous. ?

On behalf of my husband, the bank clearly doesn't care for their customers, have been waiting for important documents but still no word, can't even print them out at the bank, he's seriously considering switching banks.and wouldn't recommend them.

We had a complicated issue with our account, after the recent IT issues at Barclays and going back years. Having had no joy at all with the telephone service or with our local community hub (too many customers, not enough appts!), we tried the Fareham branch as a last ditch effort, without any real expectations.
However, once we went through the doors, 30 mins before closing, it was like we had entered another Barclays universe.
Kerrie met us with a smile, sat us down and let us explain what was happening. Even after the branch closed, Kerrie stayed put and with some really helpful and friendly support from Nadine and Julie, found the issue in the IT system (which no-one else was able to do) and got us most of the way to resolving it.
We popped in again this morning and Kerrie very kindly fitted us in between appts to finish the last piece of the puzzle.
Two weeks ago we had decide to move our primary account from Barclays. Solely due to everyone at the Fareham branch and especially Kerrie, Nadine and Julie, we are staying put and will use this branch much more regularly. Thank you Fareham branch - you are heroes!
