Went to the cafe for breakfast which is advertised as being available until 12 noon. Arrived at 11.20 to order breakfast only to find the lunch meals were being set out. For the breakfast there was no tinned tomatoes available or hash browns and the eggs and baked beans looked and tasted as if they had been on the warmer for some time. Most of the cutlery was disgustingly filthy and I had to search for clean knives and forks. Will be a very long time before we return there.

Depending on the time of day it can be busy or quiet. Fair selection of food available, and since the refit a while back they are slowly getting back to offering old customer favorites again. Free parking, petrol station, cash points, all available. Mostly self serve or self scan now tho.

Lack of tills with staff on them is disappointing. They clearly want customers to use the self-service checkouts.
Max, who was working there, however, was so quick to deal with any issues. A lot of times, the staff at Asda are slow and clearly show annoyance at having to solve issues on the self-service checkouts, but Max was great and solved everything before I had to turn around.
A number lf of isles had cages in the way which was a bother. People tend to leave trolleys in aisles, which makes navigating a pain, but this isn't necessarily the store's fault.

Ok and I know people gotta work etc could do with unit separate from shop for the online shopping shelves bare and can't get to anything shame staff are banging always helpful

Always low on stock, don't seem to either have many deliveries or the staff to put them out.

I checked before posting this review and I?m aware that local management have not responded to reviews for over a year. However, by posting, it does relieve the anger that the poor service offered does generate.
I gave up shopping in Asda many months ago. Since the price/quality ratio is extremely poor by comparison with local competition. Additionally, their staff, some of which I have known for many years are just extremely unhappy, which resonates with its dwindling numbers of customers.
Whilst I no longer shop in store, I was prepared to order some nightwear on a click and collect basis. Thus, after making my order on 23/12, I received an email on 25/12 that my order is ready for collection. So today, 26/12, I checked online that the store was open from 09.00 to 18.00. I drove down only to discover that click and collect was not available and no response to telephoning ext 245. The ?click & collect? extension.
Truly, a company heading for oblivion!

Extremely rude security staff. Stopped me and asked to see receipt. I had pressed the do not print option. Don't give that as an option if you going to accuse me on way out. Asked her to check cctv which she did. I asked her to confirm she had seen me pay which she REFUSED to do so I asked for an apology and she rudely said no. Wouldn't of hurt to say sorry I was just doing my job. Unhelpful manager who wouldn't apologise either whilst security guard sniggered. Will not go back.

Went to asdas last night wanting to purchase an umbrella asked 1 store assistant were they would be she said by the money exchange I looked couldn't see them, asked another store assistant how rude was this young lady she said they should be on the back shelf if not there she said I have no idea and walked off would of been nice if she said let me find out if we have any absolutely awful customer service lost a customer as I bought 1 in another shop

I wouldn?t touch Asda pharmacy with a barge pole!! My gp recommended me here due to them being to busy to see me. The ?pharmacist? at Asda called me and started trying to tell me I had nothing wrong with me, then insisted that ?you don?t have tonsillitis, I can?t help you? 2 days later and 111 have referred me to qa, to find it I have indeed got tonsillitis and this could have been sorted a lot sooner if the ?pharmacist? could have been bother to see me. The guy here is an utter disgrace. Just wanted to tick me off the list without even seeing me to make his numbers look good. If you have anything wrong at all please don?t ever think to go here as this guy is as good as a chocolate teapot!!! I?m not sat at home in agony, with tonsolitis which is a hell of a lot worse than it should have been. How this pharmacist is ?qualified? I?ll never know. Utter waste of time.

DO NOT USE PAY AT PUMP SEVICE TOOK MY LAST £100 WHEN I ONLY USED £25 OF FUEL AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 7 DAYS FOR THEM TO RETURN THIS BEARING IN MIND IT WAS THE LAST BIT OF MONEY I HAD TO FEED MY FAMILY AND WHEN I CALL THEM THEY WONT DO ANYTHING ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE EVEN AFTER 7 DAYS I WAS TOLD THEY STILL CANT DO ANTYHING SO WHAT I JUST SIT HERE AND LET YOU GET AWAY WOTH IT YOUR SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE IS NOT GOING TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE

The store itself is relatively well stocked, however the failsafes for Point of Sale failures are non-existant in the earlier hours.
If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of being in ASDA when tills fail you will not be able to be sold anything. This is because they do not take cash early hours, they are completely incapable of it.
Why the cash office is not open to stock tills on any premises when the store is open is actually beyond comprehension. Very poorly thought out by upper management.

Lack of manned tills despite lengthy queues. I had a coupon for money off all adult clothing and footwear. It was declined as I had bought a pair of slippers....since when are slippers considered nightwear and not foot wear. It seems that the blue light card benefits have dwindled to almost nothing too. Not been satisfied with customer experience at Asda for a while. Will be changing where I do my weekly shop.

Shopped our family shop for the first time. All the meat was off in just a few days with the bacon going green in date. Really not good quality meats from here. Will avoid in future.

The manager Tracey in the home delivery department is amazing! I spent over an hour with the customer service team who were super unhelpful and when I eventually got through to Tracey she was excellent. Tracey followed through on what she said she was going to do and genuinely wanted to help. Thank you so much Tracey. First class customer service. Give Tracey and pay rise!
