Not been back up there for a long time popped in for a beer or two on dog walk and chef think landlord aswell not sure,but on entry gave me and my friend a little bowl of beef for our little doggies ,great little touch ,and of course they loved it.

Omg – just had the most amazing roast beef dinner! Having lived in the South for many years, I can honestly say roasts here have never come anywhere close to a proper Northern one… until now. Hands down the best roast dinner I’ve ever had – tender beef, all the trimmings, and cooked to perfection.
It was very late and only came out when asked about it. The buns were rock hard and burnt. The burger came out with fillings after we requested it plain. It came out again with fillings simply scraped off with remaining sauce.
