We visited The Hampshire Arms for a Sunday roast and couldn?t have been more impressed. The food was excellent ? the beef was beautifully cooked, and the trio of meats (beef, lamb, and chicken) was equally delicious. For dessert, the lemon drizzle slice with custard (or ice cream) was the perfect finish.
The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived. The staff were attentive and personable, and the landlord took the time to chat with us about how he?d taken over the pub just the year before. The whole place has a cozy, relaxed feel ? the kind of pub you instantly feel comfortable in. Highly recommend for a great Sunday lunch.

We held my Dads 80th at the Hampshire Arms last weekend. In the run up Ian and Columbia couldn't have been more helpful and on the day the staff were excellent. We were allowed to decorate and we had pizzas fresh from the pizza oven and jugs of Pimm's and aperol plus salads. We had the freedom to put on our own playlist too. Amazing value for money, lovely friendly staff and great location. Dad had the best time and it went smoothly meaning I could relax too. Highly recommend for a relaxed party.

Tried the Hampshire Arms as had been told that the food was lovely.Sadly this was not the case I ordered Steak & Kidney pudding with mash and peas. The mash tasted off and the pudding was over cooked. Did advise the bar staff about the potatoe. Would suggest not ordering this dish if the chef they have on today is working. Very disappointed.

Lovely venue, a little quiet for Bank Holiday but thé garden is great and I?m sure they probably serve a great night of entertainment so I?ll def be back.

You might like to increase the size of your paninis which I thought rather miserly for £12.50

This lovely little country pub really is a hidden gem !
We called to see if they were able to fit in a party of 10 on a Sunday last minute . The staff were so friendly and helpful, our food was served promptly and all together . It really was amazing, well presented, hot, home cooked and so tasty . The delicious homemade apple and blackberry crumble was made from fruit grown in the garden ..... you can't get much fresher or locally sourced than that .
We ate in the lovely outside area, there were out door games for the children to play with and we all enjoyed some much needed family time .
We can't wait to come back !
Thank you x
Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly.

Think this pub must have new ownership as the service and staff were abysmal. Starting from having to ask about getting a menu, to being given 4 different menus (Some written on a piece of paper) and then one plate of food coming out 12 minutes before everyone else?s which made them feel incredibly uncomfortable.
Work on your staffs service skills and time management as this used to be a great pub for food, won?t be returning.
