What a brilliant pub and overnight stay We were here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay here The pub had 3 rooms in the converted stables and the room had everything you would need comfortable bed nice and warm and a spacious en suite The pub is a tradional locals pub with a good selection of meal options and the owners of this Tudor hostel Gaz and Emma were the best hosts you could wish for nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were excellent Food was lovely and they have a good selection of craft and keg beers with the added bonus of being dog friendly If you need to stay in this little corner of Hampshire I can recommend you stay here in this gorgeous village of Crondall Can?t wait to come back again

Stumbled across this little gem of a pub whilst travelling for work. Decided to stop of for dinner and it was absolutely fantastic meal and excellent value for money. Staff and regulars were very welcoming and friendly and will definetly be back to try some more off the menu if in the area again.

Possibly the best Fish Pie I have eaten, a large piece of fish in every mouthful, hubby had the beer battered fish, again top marks. Very welcoming, lovely village. I believe the pub has rooms, but we were only traveling through, would definitely return.

We stayed for the night en route to the New Forest. Room was comfy and a good use of space. Staff were all friendly and check in and out was really easy. We had dinner in the pub and the food was decent quality and service was good. Overall, this was a pleasant village pub.

Travelled here with our two kids and two dogs and had an amazing meal. Staff were extremely friendly and happy to help and even brought our doggies some treats which was much appreciated. A wonderful inn in a glorious setting. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Visited here for lunch with my family and dogs and I can honestly say we had the best afternoon. Lunch was amazing, drinks were great, staff did everything they could to make sure our visit was enjoyable including bringing some treats over for our dogs! Loved the local produce used for the food which I can only say was delicious. We will definitely be returning, this time spending some time in their rooms!

Superb little pub/B&B in the historic village of Crondall. Good selection of Ales, wines and a Menu to suit all. New owners who are dog friendly, always about for a chat and say hello. Gaz and Emma have transformed a sleepy restaurant Inn into a vibrant busy friendly pub/B&B that does food all day, open all day, ample parking and dog friendly...a proper country pub, log fire, friendly bar staff set in a beautiful quaint little country village just of the M3 Jct 5.

Waited 2hrs 30mins for food and when it arrived it was all burnt/over cooked I can honestly say this was the worst meal we have ever had. No apologies for the wait but the new owners did apologise for the bad food. I would not recommend eating here and will not be going again for food.

Went with the family for Sunday dinner, had the roast and wasn't disappointed. Roast beef and gammon was delicious. The teens had the sausage and mash, the shepherd's pie went down a storm. Puddings were fantastic and very yummy. Husband commented it was the best sticky toffee pudding he's had. All the portions were very generous, and we will definitely be going back. I look forward to warmer weather to use the gardens.

Stayed here overnight on our way down to Brighton for the weekend. New owners had just taken over so no food in the evening but the pub is awesome and had a great ?Hampshire pub? atmosphere! The room was small, but clean and warm. The shower could definitely do with some attention but was adequate. Got a good night?s sleep, which is the main thing! Breakfast in the morning was amazing; full english/juice/toast/coffee/tea etc. all served on time. Very friendly hosts / staff. Wouldn?t hesitate to stop there again!

Emma, the new manager, introduced herself and made us welcome as soon as we arrived and told us that the menu was almost entirely locally sourced and homemade. We enjoyed three very reasonably priced courses and will certainly be returning. The favourite dishes in our party were the sausages and mash and the shepherds pie which were both very comforting on a cold wet day! All of the puddings went down a storm too - sticky toffee pudding, rhubarb, apple and berry crumble and chocolate brownie with a choice of ice cream or custard. The staff were attentive but not overbearing which added to a very nice lunch with the family. I?m looking forward to trying the Sunday lunch very soon. I wish I had photos to add but we were so keen to tuck in, we forgot to take any!
