Terrible Service and Poor Fuel Quality
I recently visited this Shell garage, and it was an absolute nightmare. My 3.5-ton truck needed refueling, but despite all regular diesel pumps being out of order (due to water contamination, no less!), the staff refused to let me use the large vehicle refilling area. Their reasoning was completely unreasonable, especially given the circumstances.
To make matters worse, the cashier and staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, showing zero willingness to assist or offer any solutions. A complete lack of customer service and professionalism.
If you rely on clean, working diesel pumps and decent service, avoid this place at all costs. I certainly won?t be returning!

Had an issue with an Amazon return and Mel sorted it efficiently and in such a friendly manner, she?s an asset to the team and personifies good customer service!

The guy that served me last night was slow, incompetent, and made everything just hard. The lady before me gave clear descriptions of what she needed, but he proceeded to take a picture of them all and bring it back. Took so long that I put my headphones on and waited. I told him 3 times what I wanted, which was 1 irn bru, 1 large twix and 1 large snickers. He came back with the drink, but then I had to ask for other stuff another 3 times. Although I am here staying next door to them for the week, I will be going elsewhere. Either Shell is not giving him what he needs for his job (suspect hearing issue), or he is just that incompetent, couldn't tell which and can't be bothered to deal with it if they can't be bothered to provide basic non-aggrevating service

Absolutely horrible of a service station made me and my pregnant girlfriend feel so uncomfortable was just staring at us once we got up to the window we asked if she could go toilet and he got very rude and started to be argumentative another driver came and tried to help but he wouldn?t care about the situation and continued to shout I will get fired not caring that she needed a toilet was the worst experience and most uncomfortable thing whilst on a long drive very shocked about how he made the situation he didn?t even seem capable of his job looked like he didn?t know what he was doing very disappointed in the price of fuel aswell as it was so expensive then 3-4 miles down it was way way cheaper and would of probably been treated so much better then how he did he was so rude that would not go there with my partner ever again and would very much recommend not going to this place and just going to the one just a little bit down the road he could barely even make a sentence it was by far the worst experience please take this into consideration before pulling in there for some gas, dreadful experience no care in his eyes at all just a black hole never ever go there unless they change the staff honestly ???? made my girlfriend feel so uncomfortable i?m extremely pissed off

I put the wrong fuel in my car and had to wait for hours to be rescued. The lovely man working in the service station was kind and caring offering reassurance, coffee and water.He really went above and beyond to make sure I was ok and safe.He made a nightmare situation much easier to deal with. Thank you!

Reported a member of staff who was extremely rude to me. He never spoke and just stared at me while I was trying to pay. He didn't take payment. He seemed incapable of doing his role. Such a strange experience, shell don't really seem to care. They say budgens are the franchisee owner and kind of wash their hands of the situation. Don't shop here!

Quiet, peaceful, not crowded parking for up to fifteen trucks max and free of charge, I recommend it.

Never any pumps working, coffee machines have been broken for weeks now and for a "quick pit stop" it ends up taking me around 20 minutes just to find a working pump and get a coffee.
