What a lovely little cafe/restaurant, very warm cheeky welcome, I absolutely loved the decor and warm feeling. The 3 other diners with me all had amazing dishes, my macaroni cheese could have been a little more flavoursome. Sorry ? but I did love this place apart from that one issue. I would definitely

I didn?t have a great time here. Won?t be coming back to this place. My dog and I were in the backyard/open space of the cafe. My dog has weed on the tree and the not so friendly lady approached me and told me and my dog to go out because dogs should not use it as a toilet. There?s no sign saying not to let dogs wee there, also place said it?s dog friendly. She even told the old woman not to put the dog on her lap while she?s sitting on a chair. I don?t mind if they tell you in a polite manner.. but the way she spoke was very unwelcoming. Food does not taste great anyway. I bet she is the manager.. but she should learn to talk in a nice way to people.

Love place . Setting is beautiful, particularly in spring time sunshine. However, food has down in standard. A simple panini made to be tasteless and uninteresting. Such a shame as the Driftwood did use to serve tasteful food.Vegetarian options: Could be more tasteful - regrettably no made a priority.

Didn't even get in the door! On a cold and wet February day they left us standing outside to wait for a seat. We could see that there were tables available inside. So we went elsewhere.

Lovely food, freezing garden room!!! We mentioned how cold it was, hardly any pellets put on the fire. Electric heater turned off. Colder than outside ... just not good enough. Warm in the main cafe ... we were told afterwards we could have asked to move ... not helpful!

The best cafe in Emsworth. We came here for a 30th birthday breakfast - the staff couldn?t have been more friendly and the food was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful cafe situated in emsworth high street. Very cosy but lots of seating. Outdoor garden space and a separate indoor glass are for people with dogs.Sat in glass area as had a dog, very cosy and warm and extra blankets provided if needed. Table service and staff were very friendly. Ordered cakes and tea. Scone was freshly baked and delicious. Range of sounds and sarnies pain is etc available too. Toilets where modern and clean. Would recommend if in the area.

Tastefully decorated with very yummy food at sensible prices. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Will be going again for the beautifully light cheese scones and large range of cakes!

Visited for the second time in two weeks - both times opted for homemade soup and panini - both visits first class. The service is friendly and efficient including the lady that appears to be the Manager. Very welcoming and smart - great first impression. All staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. First visit had the butternut squash soup and yesterday the mushroom soup / both very tasty and great consistency, paninis also delicious with lovely garnish. Also had coffees and cakes which I couldn?t fault. Reasonably priced and all very clean. The garden is delightful and the room at the back of the garden looks so welcoming with a fire and blankets for warmth if needed and very welcoming. My new favourite place for a spot of lunch in Emsworth.
