Booked flu jab for today, received multiple reminders not to miss the appointment, turned up early to be told that they did not have someone 'qualified' to administer the jab. Gave some lame excuse about blocking out the pharmacy's diary only to have head office over rule and turn appointments back on. Reading other reviews I would suggest Boots need to introduce some serious staff training! Absolutely rubbish!

I realise I need to contact Boots about this directly, but what is the point of having a closing time and not allowing customers in 10 mins before it? This logically means you need to bring your closing time forward 10 mins! Not rocket science. It's like the unpublished lunch shutting...

I cannot believe how rude the man is that works here I am absolutely disgusted he even had the audacity to say why would you need a repeat prescription for that?! Honestly the most rude man I have ever spoken to in my life no help so called my doctors and they disagreed with everything he said and couldn?t believe it.

In store staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. The same goes for over the phone, however they don't have a phone system so I find that I get stuck calling "line busy" about 100 times before I'm able to get through to someone. Have a queue system for when multiple people call in would be a huge help.

Boots Pharmacy in Southbourne, nr Emsworth have been an absolute lifeline to me during Covid lockdown. They have liaised with the surgery when I couldn't get any help or advice there.They are wonderful.Janette coles

Went to pick up an urgent prescription only to find it closed. When you arrive at the front door you find a very small sign placed at the top of the door telling you they shut for lunch 1-2pm due to the covid virus. Two issues why is it not on the web site and two why is it not placed where the opening times are for all to see and save people wasting their time.

Received a text saying my prescription was ready except when I arrived they couldn't hand it to me because the chap wasn't allowed as the pharmacist was 'on lunch'! Why not say in a text it can't be handed out during lunch. Pathetic.

Convenient local dispensery but very small shop. Have to queue outside during Covid (just one in shop at any time) and service can be a little slow - be prepared for a wait!

Felt very poorly yesterday with asthma and cellulitis when I went into the chemist. Lovely lady served me, prescription didn't take too long. Also had a chat with the pharmacist in private about new asthma medication I'm on that he wanted to discuss. Think the service has improved a lot in this chemist, especially as Southbourne is expanding so much.
