We do our weekly shop at this Tesco store, and on the whole they generally stock at least 92% of the items that we want. But generally we are very disappointed with the fresh food fruit and vegetables as they have a tendency to go off extremely quickly, especially the fruit. Because of this we have resorted to buying most of our fruit and veg from other superstores i.e. sainsbury's/ Marks and Spencer's, whose fruit items sing to last a lot longer. Tesco's still offer the anti-vac wipes and bacteria hand gels which we take advantage of every time as well as using face masks every time we use the store.

This place is not a metro anymore it is classed as an express and your prices are now ridiculous for a shop in a town ! Great way to go now we are driving to winnal good for the environment I don?t think. Also what about the older generation who cannot get to other places ! You as a large company should be ashamed of yourselves this is a high street store not a quick motor way pop in ! I for one will be shopping elsewhere !

It used to be Tesco Metro, then they changed it to Tesco Express, so they can put the prices up. I won?t shop there, it is very expensive. That?s how quickly they can loose a regular costumer. Go to Lidl instead.

I don't mind this Tesco's and at times quite like it, so would prob give it three stars normally but my last experience here has left me feeling strange.\\n\\nI bought a pair of pyjamas on Weds and found the security tag had been left on them so took them back Thurs to have it removed, with the pyjamas still wrapped up and labelled but with no receipt on me (though you could see that they were new/packaged up.) The cashier asked for a receipt then called another staff member over who scanned the pyjamas, bearing in mind there were some in the pyjama isle still and that they were labelled/stamped 'F\\u0026F' (Tescos own brand!) So not only did I feel quite mistrusted, but was told by the other colleague that \\\"It's alright\\\" as \\\"I don't look dodgy.\\\"\\n\\nThough it was more of a time hassle than anything, this statement did leave me feeling uncomfortable as what if I had looked different? Would I have been more heavily judged? I felt sad thinking that a customer looking a certain way could be judged and mistrusted like this in future, and think that staff just need to be more careful with how they act and what they say as it's a little unfair and could land them in hot water (Also, would someone really return a stolen item just to get the security tag taken off? Seems like too much trouble to me, personally.)

The staff was unbelivebly rude ! Never going to shop there ! A member of staff called me discusting for forgeting my mask in my pocket.

Have just been into store to get a few items, as I'm in a wheelchair I asked a member of staff if they could reach the milk for me.Adam was restocking the shelf but very kindly not only got the milk he put the stock back ,got me a basket and carried it for me to continue my shopping. I have to say he went beyond what I was expecting and did it with a huge smile..thank you Adam

Good service. Major problem with the queue system for the checkouts however. There are people queuing in the isles which makes it difficult to get by or to know if you are indeed next to move forward as there are multiple queues. Would it not make more sense to form the queue at the ?lift? end of the store and have a member of staff calling the next person forward to the next available till this would also move customers through the store quicker as some people don?t move forward to unload their goods even thought the person in front of them has already moved to the packing area. Other than that, good job Tesco .

Don't buy the diced chicken here. Second time we have bought it and also the second time it was chewy and tough. It's not the way I cook it as wherever else we buy it from, it tastes and cooks fine and normal.
