Unhelpful staff. Went to look for a particular football shirt. Couldn't find it, looked for staff to assist me, nobody around. Then on my way out there was a member of staff who was staring at their phone stood to the side of the entrance. Glanced up at me, no smile, no pleasantries, just looked back down at her phone. I left feeling very unwelcome and certainly will be avoiding this store in the future.

Staff at the trainer?s section are very unenthusiastic in helping customers, we are left waiting for ages to get a correct size.

Got told I can?t exchange an item because it was on promotion , the top had rips in it and I wanted another one (bought in town on the same day) because it?s on promotion and I?m only bringing one back I have to pay full price for the singular item, went into the one in Southampton town center and they exchanged it perfectly fine

The manager of this branch is very assertive, helpful and polite, the behaviour of his staff reflects this.

the new sports direct is good for people who are looking to go to it. decent stuff, small footballs 4.50, large 5.50, also good deals on football shirts and adidas shirts and shoes. friendly staff too ? only downside is football shirts are quite expensive.

Brought some trousers that turned out to be too small, returned to store the same day but unable exchange as they do not sell my correct size. Was then informed that they do not issue refunds, store credit only! Very frustrating ?

Went into Eastleigh to visit a specialist sports shop who were unexpectedly closed early on NYE. Visited sports direct who were open the expected hours and received really good customer service and walked away with my new pair of running shoes.
