Honestly wouldn't bother. Even if you're with Santander probably look for a better bank.
I see why people switch away from high Street banks when they've closed most of the branches and the ones that are open just seem to have no time for you.
Booked an appointment to talk about finances and got a 2 week wait. Fine, they're busy I get that, because they've closed half their branches so of course they're going to be busier.
Couldn't do anything in that appointment because their system wouldn't let them do what we needed, not ideal. Rebooked for 2 weeks after.
Arrive to be told the appointment time I was told wasn't the one that was booked, so I've missed my appointment and I should have got a call to confirm the appointment and time. (Of course I didn't)
Now they want to rebook for 4 weeks time.
So 8 weeks+ waiting and I'm not even confident they'll do anything anyway.

I wanted to change my name on my bank and the lady who served me was very rude about it, I had my driver's license for ID which I may say is valid however she insisted I needed a deed poll in a rude tone. It is okay to say no however, there was no need to be judgemental!
Don't come here if you're changing your name for whatever reason and want good reception. Not very friendly.

When in today to transfer our isas because they offer a better rate, stood right by the counter where an employee could see us and was completely ignored for about 4 minutes. So walked away. Absolutely appalling.

closed before 3pm when I came in today, and neither of the ATMs outside could read a cheque. Woman who worked there said she'd "take a look at the ATM" and then locked the doors and never came back. Waste of time and parking.

This quaint branch is in Shaftesbury.Like a Hobbit bank.. the the cash machine in the wall is about a foot of the sidewalk, best little bank ever.
