Staff I spoke to were helpful. The shop not only had everything I was looking for but had multiple choices. Parking is my only concern being a disabled driver. I need to use one of the four Blue Badge parking bays in the two nearby roads or use the car park behind Sainsbury, which shoppers need to pay for. It is the same if you were to use the car park at Eastleigh train station only more expensive.

I am writing to share a distressing experience I had while shopping at your Eastleigh Poundland store. During my visit, a staff member (a black middle-aged man currently working at the till) called me over and questioned whether I had put anything in my bag or if I had anything in my bag, despite me simply shopping as any regular customer would. I immediately offered for him to check my bag, and he proceeded to search both the front and main zips. After checking, he apologised, saying he had made a mistake in assuming anything was wrong.
This experience left me feeling deeply embarrassed and ashamed in front of other shoppers. I visited your store to shop, not to be treated with suspicion or disrespect. I hope Poundland will ensure better staff training in customer service and prevent unnecessary or discriminatory behaviour towards customers in the future.
I wanted to bring this to your attention so that no one else has to go through a similar experience.

Pretty standard to other poundland / 99p stores however today I asked a member of staff for an item and she looked away, then walked a few steps and seemed to think for about 5 seconds and then said they don't have any. However; I then looked around and found a shelf full of them. Rather then saying she didn't know and then asking a colleague it was evident that it was just easier and used less effort to tell the customer they don't sell the item.

1 star purely because they have self check outs and don't use them!! There was 4 in front of me and all of the self check out were off, I questioned the staff member at the till and she said they only open them up when they really need them? I mean a machine isn't a person so why not leave them on?
