“A great team who go the extra mile. I went in to buy paint for my living room and bedroom. Had a really honest conversation about the merits of Farrow & Ball versus colour matching, without any 'hard sell' either way. The chap behind the desk clearly knew his stuff and offered to mix me up some sample pots if I wanted more time to consider. I was happy to go ahead and he mixed me up the paint on the spot, and carried them out my car for me. He gave some helpful advice about storing the paint and ultimately recycling. Another customer for life here!”

“Definitely worth coming to these types of places if you actually want advice on the best products to use for the job. The chap in this branch was honest and clearly not trying to be a salesman, which I appreciate. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I discovered they were selling a range of varnish for around £25 more than all the other chains (luckily not the one I bought). A blatant ripoff, unless of course this is a mistake. The customer service rep on twitter seemed to be happy to match the price but this, to be honest, has left a sour taste in my mouth. This feels like disingenuous behaviour to me and I’m now going to be careful to price check before buying anything else to ensure it’s not more than a reasonable amount more than the bigger chains.”
